or adrenaline, or prove thyself, or dead hard near a pallet, or windows of opportunity, which yes as silly as it sounds seeing your advantage 100% of the time is a bit unfair, imagine if the killer could see where the survivors were all the time with one perk, that would be something else huh?
does ANY popular survivor perk have counters, at all?
the only reason so many people are complain about nurse and eruption is because they are the only 2 things in this game that have no counterplay, while every other killer is has a built in nerf
here are more perks that u cannot do anything about as a killer :
reassurance, for the people, boons (yes the killer doesn't have time to deal with 9 boons), streetwise, boil over, and probably more
now give one damn killer perk that u cannot counter beside eruption, because right now i cannot think of any that effect the game massively and cannot be countered, even pain resonance no longer reveals the survivors so you cannot even call it broken
and before someone tells me discordance for prove thyself, just imagine it trigger on 2 gens one near and one far, so whatever you do in that situation you are losing a gen either way
edit : i love the way this sub works, you complain about survivor perks you get so much hate you complain about killer perks you get so much support, its like NPCS by this point

Windows are meta but Its not a strong perk. It's just info perk on pallets.
Prove isn't that strong either, it boost gens on avarage by few seconds.

The complaints about nurse and eruption comes from two things: A very strong power with the lack of counterplay. These two combined makes it very frustrating to play against them.
You must have heard this a hundred times but Nurse's power literaly breaks the game. It denies Pallets, windows and floor difference so you cannot loop her, but if you try to run from her, her range/ recharge addons makes it so you will get down anyway, so you are stuck with guessing.
Eruption has no counter in soloQ.
Now with survivors perk
Adrenaline in an endgame perk, so it is obvious that the best way to deal with this is try to kill all survivors before it. I dont know why people really overstimate this perk, most of the games i lose are done before EGC so i can hardly get any use of it.
Prove Thyself is countered by all the gen regressing perks in this meta, that does the reverse of its effect. Gift of pain applies to one surv the reggresion PT effect of 3 survs working on a gen. Then you have Pentimento, Brine, Overcharge who can all destroy the progress of a gen. Use discordance.
Woo is an info perk, really. To see the pallet or window does not make you faster or better looper so you dont really need a counter to this.
Reassurance needs to be activated in a 6m range, so killers with an instadown (which are the ones who usually camp) can down them before they reach the hook.
For the people injures and inflicts broken on the one that applies it so go for him.
By boons i suppose you mean COH, run sloppy. Maybe it will not stop them from healing but they will lose a lot of time. If not, shattered hope.
Streetwise counter's is obviously Franklins. always.
Boil Over is situational, and tied to the map is played in. It's more of a map issue than the perk itself, so i would bring a sacrificial ward if i was too afraid of it.

I can't believe people are still trying to say Prove is a strong perk. It's only good in end game 3 gen scenarios. Beyond that it literally encourages you to play in the most inefficient way possible. Grouping up on gens is BAD and only benefits the killer. Anyone who played killer for more than a few hours knows this. Prove is like old BBQ. It's a perk people bring for the BPs because you get so little for repairing normally. With prove you basically get a free guaranteed 10k. If they buffed the amount of BPs you got from repairing solo then I GUARANTEE prove thyself usage would plummet overnight.

The killers of this forum don't care about solo survivor, they only care about MMR and how broken things survivors bring are but forget that in competitive killers also cannot bring certain perks, but apparently those are ok for them.
I'm sure some of them will even complain when and if solo survivor gets the most rudimentary ways of communicating through icons or pings and claim that killers will leave and the game is a horror game and it more faithful if survivors have no ways of communication😂

Or that killers in competitive are playing against the sweatiest possible 4 stacks who practice together on a regular basis, and they still often 4k even with restrictions on their killer builds. You can never convince many killers that they have a skill issue.

For the bonus bloodpoints on co-op actions of course, especially since they raised the cap. I run Prove every game solely for that reason.
If they got rid of the bloodpoint bonus I would stop running Prove immediately and never run it again.

If you really thinkg Prove Thyself is used because of the removal of the Penalty when two people are working on a Gen, you really lack game knowledge.
If the Devs would remove the Bonus-BPs from PTS you would see a huge drop in numbers.

The majority of people who go "Nurse has no counterplay", yourself apparently included, fail to use LoS blockers. She does have some level of counterplay, and the majority of Nurses can be countered.

Yeah, this is called a skill issue. A bunch of people (on this forums in particular) think they're good at the game when they're really not, based off of their opinions.
It's only master Nurses or Nurses with 4 slowdowns or 4 info perks where things begin to get really problematic.
You can use lockers btw, last I checked she can't search lockers in her power and jumping in a locker counters a blink easily.

I didn't say "Survivors". I said "this community". I meant both roles equally. Both are not very good at this game, and don't understand how to tackle new challenges that new Killers and new/reworked perks create.
Another reason is how there are plenty of "As a Survivor/Killer player..." people who will advocate for popular but bad opinions and try to use their "main" status to give their bad opinion more weight, which is why I use "community", not "Survivor/Killer main".

Not every survivor goes always full meta gen rush perks. If you would take my word, i hardly see any survivor use Hyperfocus, stake out, Deja Vu, commodius + BNP. But what i always see is eruption, brine, Overcharge in 90% of my games.

ur neutral, i respect that, but honestly being neutral in this community will do nothing, i play both sides too, won't say the same amount but i know the pain of being camped or tunneled, but also know if i bring the most overused perks on survivor or killer i will win, but you know asking to win without playing only with meta perks or killers is hard apparently.

my lobbies are always filled with dead hard, prove thyself, circle of healing, windows of opportunity, and adrenaline
all of those perks you mentioned, i never see tbh

you don't know what you can expect, and same for survivor, in general both sides are bring the best perks and making the game boring for people who are trying to have fun
but asking to nerf something in one side without touching the other side is not ok.

The nurse counterplays are really basic and unrelieable, and most times they fail. It really narrows down to how much can you predict her blinks but especially, how good she is at blinking.
So it is no wonder why many people are frustrated to play against her.

The difference is, BBQ is only used for its Aura Read nowadays. You wont see BBQ on a Hag for example. But you will see it on Billy or probably Blight. The usage dropped a lot when the Bonus-BPs were removed, same would happen to Prove Thyself.
And honestly, DH is not really a problem anymore.

SWF that plays efficiently and wants to tryhard and win completely breaks the game. A really good Nurse or Blight is the only thing that stands a chance but when you talk about balancing SWF people just throw up their hands and go "you can't punish people for playing with their friends!!!" 🤷♀️ but you can certainly punish the poor sap who decided to play Myers or pallet Freddy for fun and gets matched with them.
Also Windows is lowkey OP. It basically prevents a survivor from ever running into a deadzone and turns even bad survivors into serviceable loopers. I'm terrible at survivor and give me Windows and I can run a killer for 5 gens on maps like Eyrie, The Game and the new one

If i start a discussion or make a comment about eruption being overtuned and unfair, that does not mean that other things are not broken.
I usually dont talk of perks like Dead Hard or Circle of Healing because i hardly use them and i dont have much information except for the description of the perks. So i cant give an opinion of them.
But Eruption, my god. I have been playing against eruption users for weeks.

Killers are doing fine atm. Solo survivor is not. You can run anything you want and you only have to rely on yourself. The game doesn't limit you like solo survivor. Making the gameplay about teamplay and solo survivor not having any means of communications and 4man SWF is probably 10% or less of the playerbase.
Even now you still refuse to comment on solo survivor because you know they don't have a saving grace and making an argument about "what about killers?" showing that you have no real argument to make for the current state.
You don't have to pretend to care or play the victim, just say what you really think that addressing solo survivor issues will make the game harder for you to win and you are ok with the state of it atm.

In their defense survivors also have a limit to their perks, but yeah if killers were to follow tournament rules they'd probably not be able to run 4 slowdown perks.

Idk if you get sweaty survivors maybeyou're not where you should be because you've been abusing certain builds and getting 4k when you shouldn't be getting them, and now every game just tires you out because you've got survivors that require some skills to beat though?

Look, Eruption is not being talked because some 'scheme' or a popularity issue.
It is mainly because it can give you a total of 34 sec of slowdown with one activation, and this activation can not be countered in soloQ. It is really as simple as that.

I just wanted to clarify that Prove Thyself does not give you "extra" bloodpoints; it just awards the bloodpoints for the category faster. There is a cap, and this perk does not allow you to go over it.
