Worst Shack Tile Ever
This was the Garden of Joy shack spawn yesterday...
If it's not obvious from the screenshot, the bush was blocking the window side of the shack (not the window) and there wasn't enough room to pass next to it.
Edit: Removed player names and increased brightness

Yup, maps are spawning basically everything right now. Sucks for everyone.

Had this happened a few times on a variety if maps, but this is the worst I've seen so far.
This along with the PS5 Freeze bug makes it the worst release in years in my book.

Gotta love this bug whenever it appears because this is like the fourth time the debris appearing everywhere bug has poped up, also I believe this is the worst iteration of said bug, Ive never seen so much debris spawn EVERYWHERE.

"Everyone gets to be an M1 killer because there's too much random crap around to use ANYTHING, and survivors can't really do any sane looping that doesn't take advantage of that former fact"
perfect balance: fun for absolutely nobody

Great for killer, bad for survivor

Sometimes, but not always. I've got caught on objects as Killer too when in a chase.

As if I needed another reason to hate this map

Yea had that bush by shack as well yesterday. But on the door side where you are. So if you were running the killer through shack and you turned right, you'd just be hit with the giant bush. Very questionable placement.

had a tree blocking litteraly shack entrance on crotus prenn in my last match. (not fully blocking i guess but it spawned next to entrance so you couldnt reach it from one side. also leaving a decisive gap making you think you fit throw but you dont.

This is not unique to the Garden of Pain. It's happening on all maps.
The worst cases are gaps where survivors can pass but killers cannot. Some spawns make it actually impossible to hit survivors.

No way, that sounds awful! Wonder how long until it's fixed. Mid chapter?

eh

Maybe you haven't noticed but there are several issues in several maps. Quite a few killer-only "fat-shaming" placements too.

Definitely noticed. What makes you think I hadn't? As I said in my second comment, I've had this happen a few times in a variety of maps, this is just the worst I've seen so far.

'Maybe' was a part of that sentence. It underlines a possibility, not a certainty. And I've formulated it as such because what you've posted seems to be a specific case of that general issue. This isn't the worst case, but it may be the worst for survivors. (The shack obstacles blocks all, the fat-shaming placements are only blocking killers in a chase)

Nah it’s bad for both sides in this example. If the survivor vaults the window from inside the shack the killer has to walk all the way around the bush. It makes the normally unsafer side safer if you play it right.

The best one I've seen so far is a tree I can get through as survivor but the killer couldn't get through. Essentially turning shack into an infinite. Seems reasonable lol

I read people call if "fatshaming", and it happens randomly in a random places. Sometimes survivor is able to get through, killer does not. Sometimes surv can't and it is a free hit.

Yea happening on several maps.

God, I'm getting flashbacks to my most recent Trickster game on Mothers Dwelling. Like normally, it's not that great of a map for Trickster to begin with but I can normally make do. But no, with whatever this bug is there were twice as many trees, rocks bushes etc that none of us, myself and the survivors could play properly. In the end, I just double-hooked everyone and let them all go, the survivors all left their items for me as a sign of pity. So yeah, rough game.

I've been playing Wesker mostly since I came back to the game. The difference in bound usability before and after Knight released is night and day.

I can imagine, I don't own Wesker yet but I've seen clips from before and after this tile increase bug and I can see the difference.

Hmm, I don’t usually go for a doorway after a survivor vaults shack window to be sure they don’t double back, and if the survivor did vault from inside the shack, turned right and saw the bush they’d either go around or double back, both could be seen from the window

'Maybe' if you had read the other posts before commenting, you would see I was already aware. But thank you for helping me understand what maybe means, you must be the brains. Well done you 👏
