Will Eruption get the Pain Res treatment

Because of the amount of usage pain res had, they removed the information from the perk, do people think this will happen to eruption too?

iirc the devs said they want to change the meta more often so it'll probably get some sort of adjustment with a dozen other perks in a few months.

They're going to dumpster the perk along with the Knight's new one that reveals survivors near the kicked gens. Guarantee you they just ignore how OP and game-breaking CoH is though

it should not, will be a trashcan perk if so

They will give it a bull-######### range requirement of, say, 24 meters and only the last 1/1/2 gens damaged and call it a "rebalancing, not a nerf".

Possibly, but who knows. I do think Eruption is overtuned in its current status. It's not game-breaking in my opinion, but it does provide a lot of information for such a simple interaction and it absolutely demolishes teams in SoloQ.

I think decreasing or limiting the incapacitation time should suffice, but I can see them trying other solutions. The reason Pain Resonance was changed was because of Dead Man's Switch... it was reinstated because they broke Merciless Storm with it for some reason.

I mean, Pain Res is still one of the most popular regression perks. You're basically asking if they'll just give it a love tap instead of a proper nerf, to which I say yes.
