How much time do you need to complete a Rift?
I'm curious as I've tried to complete 2 rifts in different times and I feel like it takes too long. I'm on lvl 26 of the current rift, having play +40 hrs in current season and focusing on challenges, with a month left and so slow progress, halfway through page 3 with a few challenges to complete in every page.
Since the way you progress is artificially slowed by one having to choose what challenge to complete and performance. 2 months and half and it still feels like you need to put +100 hrs, focusing on certain playstyles and perform really well to compensate how slow certain challenges are.
I wouldn't mind if you could complete several challenges at the same time, it will improve how fast you progress, complete past tomes without losing progress on the current rift, gain more bp and it wouldn't damper hardcore players because they'll play even after finish a rift. Past rift bp rewards aren't even enough to diminish the actual bp grind of every game.

if you really want to complete the rift then focus COMPLETELY on the challenges
you get rift fragments based off exp too so play 1 match of killer and 1 of survivor to get the first game of the day 500 exp bonus on them both

I’m focusing, but with how much challenges I’m left, even with tomorrow page I’ll be missing 20-30 lvls and you have to consider challenges get grindier with each page. It’s not like the daily rituals helps and in soloQ you have to play a lot to complete specific situational challenges.

If you play regulary then you can finish it before even the final (IV) part of challenges unlock.
If you play a lot daily then you can do it maybe even before part III unlocks.
Also from time to time there are some bonus fragments (events or code).

When I've tracked it it takes me 70-80 hours to complete Rifts by doing all/most challenges if there's no bonus XP/Fragment events or extra Tomes.

I'm a casual player who doesnt play every day, and when I do play it's usually only for a max of 2 hours. I can get a Rift done by the time it closes

I usually finish the rift at the start of the 3rd tome page, sometimes as soon as the end of the second tome page, but DBD is, despite all its flaws, my most played and main game, and I got no family to take care of, so I can spend my free time any way I want. ^_-
The challenges give you a good return of your time, even though if you lose a couple of games because of the way you play. I guess your biggest issue is the playtime you got available and it might just not be possible for you to pull off :V

Reached 85 yesterday while only claiming challenges needed to progress on the saving bloodpoints route.

are you using ghost face and mikaela or are you ignoring those challenges

I usually finish before part 3 comes out & thats generally only doing survivor challenges with the odd killer thrown in.
I'm currently level 83 so still got a couple to go this time will be done today, wish the deep rift went to 100 personally.
Couldn't tell you exactly how many hours on average it takes me to finish but I do play roughly at least 40 hours a week sometimes many many more

Eh, give it time. Bhvr will make it 90+ tiers soon enough lol.
To answer op I've never really had problems trying to complete the rift. DBD's battlepass is extremely forgiving, at least compared to other games (stares at overwatch). I'm on level 76 right now.

A couple hours a day, maybe 4-5 days a week plus a couple extra hours on a friday/saturday, so let's say 10-12 hours a week, focusing on the challenges, got me to tier 85 roughly the same time I completed the third page of challenges. That was about a week ago.

It's usually done around the end of the second tome, start of the third one.
