In general: Killer sided at lower skill levels, survivor sided at higher ones.
Maps, killers and other factors can vary this but yeah, Solo obviously gives the killer a massive advantage too.

It varies for player MMR/SBMM, killer and map.
Personally I'd say it's very survivor sided, what with Bill's perks being made into basekit for survivors, while they don't make any killer perks basekit.
But then you have killers that just wreck no matter what MMR they're played at like Blight or Nurse.

If the Survivors are competent and playing the game correctly, they are at a massive advantage over Killers the vast majority of the time.
Of course if the Survivors are bad and/or playing the game wrong, they can lose, but that is like saying "Nurse is the worst killer in the game if you dont use any blinks or cant land any of your blinks".

In a match with actually decent players? Survivors easily.

Neither.
The game is not balanced enough to really quantify or qualify the game being towards a certain side. Something things are unfavorable. But there is just too many moving parts imo.

depends, if its cow shed against a m1 killer then people say its survivor sided, but if the killer gets shelter woods with 5 pallets on the map people say its killer sided, biggest game balance problem is maps

Survivor sided and it’s not even close. Pretty much anyone with high play time on both sides will agree with this.
