tips & tricks for using the trickster?

heloo!! I just came out from a match and I was using the trickster as the killer, I had 4 kills in the end and it was great! I'd like to know if there's anything else I can improve other than his aim, like how to mind game, stop gen rush and etc :D

unfortunately he has no gen strength so i stack eruption and brine (i know cringe. but it works)

there is always the nemeses midgame on windows. but i suppose that works for the majority of ranged killers.

for aiming. try to aim a little above there heads on loops, usually this can catch them and often times aiming lower gets ur knife on a object.

DONT BE AFRAID TO HOLD DOWN BLADES. i have a horrible habit of trying to go one by one. but if you can hold that button down do it.

bamboozle is a godsend. shuts down loops so quickly, especially on shack making that wall strech much longer gives you more time to pelt em with blades

im not good at giving advice, im not a person for explaining with words.

The only thing Trickster is good for is annoying people and "art" if you know what I mean.

We have an odd play style with trickster so take this with some caution.

Depending on add ons, don't be afraid to make silly shots. The bouncing blades work wonders as we can "skip" them on the floor, walls, roof, etc to make shots. The exploding blades we aim at survivors legs as if you miss you still get something. Adding the cut through you add on to either of these and we can build up laceration fast.

When you have clear shots hold down the button as after a certain number of blades you throw faster but if the recoil gets to you or need accurate shots just click one after another (it helps on controller at least)

We don't really use slowdowns on him but oppression is decent as he doesn't have much map mobility. Otherwise the usual slowdowns will probably do enough. That said, everyone above gave pretty good advice.

Learning mindgames will be your best friend as trickster, especially if you’re playing against high skill survivors. Most competent survivors will immediately run to a high walled loop for shelter against your blades — it can sometimes come down to confusing the survivors to get some cheeky hits with your blades.

In my opinion Trickster is one of, if not THE most snowball dependant killer in the game. When you first get in game you really got into predator mode; scan your environment and ideally, find grouped survivors so you can herd them to a place where you’ll easily get a down. I’ve noticed that with trickster, and with any ranged killer in general, your position can directly correlate to the direction the survivor will go. If you can move yourself in such a way where you can manipulate the survivor into falling into your trap, you can go ham with your blades.

I put a small dot sticker on the middle of my screen where my cursor spawns when loading into the game so I always have perfect aim.

Lol I'm just kidding. A good trick is to throw a few knifes before moonwalking to the pallet at jungle gym loops. I get 80% of survivors with this trick.

Running his caged heart shoes is the best for chases. And if you are worried about reload don't bother with iron maiden use the green flash drive addon. Murderous melody I think is it's name. It's good and a will save you time and you won't waste a valuable perk slot which can feel really crummy on maps with poor locker spawns.

Trickster thrives off the open area but some people are still able to dodge his blades very well. My trick is to not follow their back and forth pattern but continue aiming straight as they normally run right into the blades. If they just continue to one side then I change direction.

HAHA I literally placed a tape on my screen just for him and left it there, but thank you for the tips!

Huntress should be deleted from the game just like nurse.
