Hag isn't fun at all (in my opinion)

I mean for me there are 3 things that I really hate about her:

- Preplacing traps on loops is useless most of the time bc good squads will disarm them with flashlights or while you are in chase with someone

- You are super slow

- You can place a trap at a pallet but survivors will start to run away to the next pallet and you can't catch up

But its the same thing for me as survivor. I don't but not bc shes super good....shes just boring bc 90% of the ppl will camp with her.

Is there anyone enjoying her? I would like to get some advice. How can I play her like a fun killer?

1 of her strongest benefits used to be her snowball effect. With boon totems that really hurt her. She was able to keep survivors injured then lure them into her web and devastate. Also she experiences bugs that don’t let her swing momentarily when teleporting. Those two together hurt her tremendously. 1 of the ways I play her is with sloppy and rusty shackles, the surprise hits are good. And keeping people injured is the way

I do have to commend Hag for somehow being a less enjoyable experience than the Twins, I keep forgetting it's possible.

Yeah I remember playing her a long time ago with severed hand and waterlog shoe or rusty shackles and the zikade. But right now she just feels bad. :/

I hope they rework both of them.

The long cooldown after downing someone with victor feels unnecessary and I hate slugging but its the only effective way to play them.

Hag got the same problem. She can pressure a part of the map and camp survivors that go down in her 3 gen but its super boring for me as well.

I'm enjoying playing her, but I'm reaching a spot in matchmaking where I'm running out of inexperienced teams and having more and more survivors know how to counter her quite well.

I'm a rare items/add-ons hoarder, so I'm just playing yellow setup trap time and teleportation range mostly.

I'm happy to play her regardless of if I win or lose, but Corrupt Intervention has become a staple of my builds. I'm messing with Shattered Hope as well but it's not that great. I've tried going for instadown perks, Haunted Grounds is okay, but often cleansed before I get much traps out there, so it's not as lethal as it could be. Good for intimidation though !

Right now either the team is not very experienced to counter Hag and I go for chases, or some bald Dwight pops three of my traps while I'm carrying someone and I'll just f-scurry right off to my 3gen and get them over time. =)

You want to have fun with Hag - learn tricks you can do with her power and camp bigger area. That's it.

    Hag, Trickster, Twins.

Three absolute misses when it comes to killer design. Better off without them on the killer roster since the devs don't seem too interested in reworks.

Legion when he first came out was their biggest miss. What a tragedy of the a character concept.

It’s mainly because the only real way to play her is to pick a 3 gen, put your web all over it, down a survivor and put them in the web, and then force every single unhook to be a trade. Boom that’s hag matches. Her playstyle embodies most survivors least enjoyable type of match to have.

Then Hag is not for you in current meta, I'm afraid

I used to main her and she was more fun before since you could put your traps in key points and win through pressure by wounding survivors a lot, but since CoH was released you just have to camp. It is even worse now with new DH.

I get why people dislike Hag as chases are not really the most efficient way to play her and chases are generally the most intense/fun parts of DBD. I don't mind Hag so long as they aren't boring hook in basement then lay 50 million traps kind of Hags...

But the most frustrating thing with Hag for me isn't even Hag, it is my solo team mates are often absolutely clueless against Hag and we lose for that reason more than anything. I started DBD when Urban Evasion was still quite meta and I loved that perk in my early days (lol) and Hag was a lot more common so survivors knew how to deal with her.

Edit: as far as playing Hag, the current meta does make it hard to get value out of her but send yourself to a map like Swamp and if you lose you are probably not the greatest with her imo

I don't like much Hag because she rely on her set up a lot. She is designed to camp area and that's about it. I prefer normal chases than just camp area.

Trapper is way more fun because he doesn't rely on his traps since he is still normal M1 Killer and he can just trap few good spots for him around the whole map.

My goto Grandma build would have to be

Sloppy, Hex: Third Seal, Lethal, Your Choice of Perks with Shackles and Severed Ear.

Place traps near Gens where Survivors won't see them and then enjoy the show when you scare them half to death

I actually have a blast playing her occasionally (I don't play her very often maybe 1 time per week). The main way I play her is to be really territoriative (you don't have to camp hooks). Just choose an area you want to defend and place a web in that area. The way I play is to place like 5 traps then chase a survivor and after I hooked them I finish my web. After these steps typically 1-2 gens are being done but don't panic because that is typically the part where the game slows down in terms of gen speed and now is the time where the pressure will grow on the survivor side. Now you start harrasing them of gens, heals etc. and try to push them into your web to get quick downs while keep maintaining a web. If everything goes right they are being very busy healing and going for unhooks so they will barely get any gens done and will get more and more demoralized. If you reach that point you basically won the game.

My build I run for her is: Pain Resonance, Monitor and Abuse, Save the Best for Last and a 4th perk (Currently it's Floods of Rage for info)

I also dodge evvery lobby that has more than 2 flashlights.

I kind of love her ... when she isn't bugged.

    So, not at the moment.

She is the most tactical killer IMHO.

Hag was my first main and probably will always be my 'go to' killer for fun.

That said, she does feel a bit outdated - especially in terms of her addons which are either 'good but boring' or 'terrible and boring'.

I play a roaming, non camping Hag with PR, Agi, M&A and STBFL. I basically just cut the map into pieces and trap the hell out of high traffic areas - she does very well outside of enormous, open maps.
