Snowman event is coming back and with that I have one concern
Please tell me that the Snowman no longer destroys Killers like Ghostface or Twins. For these who don't know, jumping into the Snowman would remove the Exposed Effect when fully stalked. For Twins, it was free protection shield againts Victor and then you could just kick it on top of that. Etc. Other Killers could be effective in some negative way. Last event this was easy to abuse since snowman spawn was everywhere around the map and it was quite offten easy to find one.

I agree, snowmen shouldn't remove status effects.
I heard the killer can use them now too, which would be funny to see if that is the case.

This year, the snowmelt will be buffed and the snowmen will grant the survivor a 15 second sprint burst every time they bust out of one or are hit in one by the killer. A new green snowman variant will now instantly heal survivors the moment they enter it.
In all seriousness, while I know it’s kinda unfair, it was nice to have them as a survivor and adds a tiny bit of spice to the game. Hopefully they could introduce something for killers to even it out.

I don't know if this is unpopular opinion or not but if it's the same snowmen as last year, I'm perfectly fine with that
I imagine they'll change things a bit since they've had a year since last time with many complaints about screwing over Ghosty and Twins but I just love the snowmen stuff regardless. I suppose I don't really use those two so that's easy to say for me but I love to just f around with survivors and the snowmen.

Yeah,it pretty much made some killers very bad and even on the ones it didn't affect much,it could still waste their time when a survivor might or might now hide in a snowman.

I do hope that they adjusted some of the specific killer power interactions that could be a little unfun. The last Bone Chill was fantastic, but you basically couldn't play Twins or Ghostface, and the snowmen interacted a little oddly with a few other powers like Doctor's shock ability, which would break the snowman but not unlock any cosmetics for some reason.
If they've tweaked a few of those interactions, I'll be ecstatic.

I hope the thing about killers is true so I can use the snowman dredge cosmetic hide inside the snowman and make survivors go "Aww it's a snowman...*pops out*....OH GOD IT'S A SNOWMAN".

Well currently you can't play Twins because power is bugged , so you won't see any if it isn't fixed before event lol. I imagine Knights will be pissed if it blocks AI hits.

You don't realise that this snowman event the Killers will have the fun.
Teleporting or digging beneath the snow to appear in any of the snowmen to jump scare the survivors will have everyone talking about how much fun it is, including Ghostface and the Twins

Limited time event that objectively buffs survivors for a few weeks?
And all the survivors are saying "get over it and just have fun. It's limited time anyway who cares"
Boy, wouldn't it be fun if killers could jump into snowmen and turn into Jack Frost and while they were snowmen, all survivors in their terror radius moved 20% slower and gained Exhaustion? BUT the snowman suit went away as soon as the killer hit a survivor, to keep it balanced.
Wouldn't that be super festive and fun? And if you don't like one side having an objective advantage, don't worry: it's for a limited time!

I think I will try to avoid playing Ghostface and Twins as much as possible if nothing has been changed to adress the issues from the last event.
What's the point of playing power that can be easily removed by Survivors.
"But hey, try to have fun!" Sure, so much fun being basic M1 killer and not being able to use my power. Rather go play someone else.

The snowman event last year was the best time I've had in DbD in forever. I remember a Billy begging me and my friend to save the other two survivors off the hook, but we were too busy twirling and high-fiving each other in the snowmen suits. Our two teammates died, then Billy killed us, it was hilarious. Also had some matches where we chased the killer around, I'll never forget that poor terrified Wraith ringing his bell over and over again.
I don't understand why anyone playing survivor even touched gens when you could dance in circles as a freaking SNOWMAN. It'd be great if killers can be snowmen this year, then it'll just be everyone dancing until the match timer runs out.

The us vs them mentality is really depressing. Oh no survivors walk 15% slower and cant do anything. Why are you so upset over some event.. let alone a video game? Just chillax and if it really grinds your gears that bad dont play the game jesus. Lighten up.

The snowmen gave an extra health state to survivors from almost all the killers. No way something meant to be fun should impact the gameplay like this. Have the snowmen for fun but not create an additional health state.
