wait so how do I get the role and badge?

you get the role automatically when joining via the invite link , you can see it after your name or in your profile in role

the badge you need to request it : https://forums.bhvr.com/Meet-Your-Maker/badge/alpha-surveyor and just say why you deserve it , then wait for it to appear on your profile
