What are the specifics of "griefing"?
I got banned for griefing but I have no idea how I wasn't doing anything abusive never trying to ruin another's game experience so I would like some idea of what are the specifics of griefing the only thing I can think of is at one point a survivor sold out anothers location and I let him live for it is that classified as griefing.

I mean, yes. That's technically "working with the killer" which if the survivor you killed reported you for it, then its' possible though I've never heard of anyone actually being banned for it without showing a pattern of it.
But, as was said, you really need to do a ban appeal as nobody here, not even the mods can tell you what you did to get banned. Only the BHVR in-game moderation staff know why they banned you.
