DC Penalties

I've been suffering from recent game crashes to a blue screen related to memory management. These frequent events have taken a serious toll on my games and the DC penalty time, it has increased to 5 hours due to my inconsistent experience with the game so far, and it's making it hard to play when most of time everyone is leaving servers around the EU to do with the laggy servers that we're experiencing, so half of the time I don't get a full decent game. Is there anyway to solve this, please?

You penalty gets worse the more often you dc/get dc d.

if you don’t dc for a longer time it will go back to more moderate times, if you can’t make sure to actually play the game du to technical issues, don’t ready up and resolve your issues (reason for bluescreen..)

The blue screen happened unexpectedly, the crashes that I've been happening (which I've believe are now gone, after performing another update to my drivers) already boosted it up, and the blue screen today increased it to 5 hours.

You'll need to figure out what's causing the issue.

If it's just DbD, put in a bug report. But this sounds like a hardware issue, or quite possibly Windows pooping the bed. Maybe Google the exact error and go from there?

Unfortunately, while this may sound unsympathetic - it's not fair to the other players in the game to waste their time with a 3v1, which is why the penalty is there.

Hi! I had the same problem a while ago, just with dbd, any other game or program i was running didn't caused any issues, i started using MSI afterburner and setting the graphics in the game to "low", and setting "auto restart windows" off, that worked for a while but then the problem happened again, at the end it was caused due to the gpu having some kind of internal malfunction, i got a new one and the crashes never happened again, hope you can handle it as "easy" as i :D

That sounds like something's dying on your computer. As mentioned above, it could be your gpu. Could be a ram issue. Could mean somethin on your board is crappin out. Your best bet would be to take it in for service.

Either way, don't keep racking up penalties. It will eventually lead to a permaban.

I don't think DC's can lead to a permaban, at most a temporary one.
