The survivors I encounter are always so cute, kind and skilled. Anyone else experience this?

I meet so many wonderful and interesting people playing this game. My steam friends list is now filled with some of the coolest and most awesome people in the gaming world. I think interesting, eccentric and wonderful people must gravitate towards this game. Thank you DBD.

 Sure, when I first started playing I encountered more toxic people. But I can forgive this because they were probably new and didn't understand the basic etiquette of the game. I have had only one game that I can think of in the past few months where I even encountered a legitimate troll. I have built up a reputation for playing fair and people reciprocate. If you work hard in the games you play people recognize that and usually send kudos. Even when I play survivor I get killers who say, "Kudos, well done."

I wonder if some of this is due to the hard work of the behavior moderators removing hackers and people who are just looking to cause trouble. I am grateful that when I play, I am usually showered with kindness by the other survivors. Does anyone else have a similarly positive experience?

    What you're talking about is nearly my exact experience so far ! Very few trolls, many cute and nice people. I've made great friends on this game.

    Especially when I play killer, as that is when I can best set the mood for the game. I play very fair and the survivors generally relax as well, and I tend to be positive in endgame chat (if I don't have anything positive to contribute, I just don't engage) so people are nice as well towards me.

    I've been encouraged by my most skilled opponents very often, had very cute moments in game, and I wouldn't trade that for the longest winstreak of all. It's just how I like the game !

    I'm curious what region you play in? After playing in several different regions I've noticed some general differences between how nice or chill people seem to be in game and end game chat. Overall I think the toxicity of the community is an over exaggeration. There are a lot of cool and decent people who play the game and certain DBD streamers are particularly very wholesome and inclusive for a PVP game.

    I don't know about OP, but I live in France and get matched with people all around EU. I've made Polish, British, Hungarian and Turkish friends, and am sometimes matched with an absolutely sweet Plague from Spain. =)

    Yep. Im a killer only and playing chill or in character ive met so many fun people. Its a fun game if you dont take it too seriously. I got hit hard by a survivor friend cos they didnt know it was me, torched and sabo etc. It was cute watching them push to survive. Afterwards they felt so bad when they saw it was me in scoreboard. Its just a game people! Have fun
