Matchmaking issues? SBMM disabled?
I have no idea what's going on, I havent played in nearly a month but I hopped on yesterday and today and every match feels like theres no SBMM?
I'm versing killers that arent running stacked slowdowns and barely know how to play the killer they're playing or at least to the level I'm use to see. Every game just feels like I'm miss matched against some newer or far more casual killer than usual, is anyone else experiencing this?
Not that I'm complaining I'm not versing killers using the best stuff as usual or people that are highly skilled with the killers but the games are easy and often result in many people Escaping.
Unless SBMM is off, SBMM has a decay now or each survivor has their own mmr I'm confused what's going on (reason I mention the last one is I'm playing bill who I haven't touch in years, highly doubt that's a thing but provide as much info as possible I guess?)

That's odd.
I know that they've been doing some fiddling behind the scenes in terms of when you take a break, your MMR is made more volatile so if you come back and lose it'll drop really fast.

Yeah I honestly have no idea what's going on, I'd say my teams are the same as usual with some okay and some stupid but no game has felt challenging like normal.
I thought maybe my mmr has gone down a little since not playing (maybe they added it while I was away) but after back to back escapes through the gates I'm not seeing any increase.
Only didnt play for nearly a month as I moved location for holiday (still uk) and it's so different

This has been my experience for a while tbh. I die most of my survivor games b/c i play pretty altruistically. So my MMR is probably tanked meaning I get matched up with real bad teammates. So while I can have a good chase, my team does no gens or they do the wrong gens and we end up with a 3 gen. The killers i face generally seem to know what they're doing. this makes me think they are good killers who get knocked down in MMR b/c higher MMR survivors stomp them with gen speeds & pre-drop safe pallets.
IMO, the MMR needs to stop tracking only kills/escapes. The devs need to add other points in to actually factor skill not just a proxy. Or honestly, just drop the whole thing entirely and do a first in, first out match making.
