Unexpectedly put into Dying State

Hey all,

I was playing a game against a Blight, and at the end of the game, as I was opening the exit gates, my bleed-out meter started to regress quite quickly and just before the exit gates were to open, I was on the ground. The only perk the Blight had was Deadlock. He did have some addon equipped, which I tried to match up with one of his current addons and couldn't find. I have attached a video below of the incident:

Any ideas about what is going on here?

Thanks!

You were deep wounded and forgot to mend.

Look at the yellow bar underneath your name. Once it runs out, you go down

They buffed deep wound a while ago to go from a 30 second bleed out timer to 20 seconds so opening the gates will always respond with you being down and the gate 99'd unless you have Sole Survivor or Wake Up

So what I'm assuming happened is shortly before the clip begins you were unhooked and got hit while you still had Endurance. Any instance where you get hit while you have Endurance (except when using Mettle of Man) you are put into the Deep Wounds state. Its exactly as if you were hit by Legion while they're in Feral Frenzy, or get shot and hit/break Deathslinger's chain. You need to stand still and Mend yourself which takes 12 seconds. The Deep Wound's timer pauses when ever you are Mending, being Mended by some one else, or running.

    Hope this helps!

Deep wound big dawg. It accelerates when you do actions.

Correct! The bleed-out when you are in the Dying state is different from Deep Wound status effect. Perks, add-ons, and being struck right after you are unhooked can apply the Deep Wound state. In this case, you received the special health bar that turned yellow. Performing an action while in Deep Wound. It pauses when you are running, or mending, but when the timer runs out you enter the Dying state.
