What is going on with DBD on Steam?
Can anyone tell me why DBD is suddenly the 5th best selling game on Steam but is not on sale or anything?
Seems weird it shot up 16 places out of nowhere so what am I missing here?

It's possible that it is on sale in a different region. Companies sometimes do that if they are trying to grow the game in certain places. Although i don't know if that is actually what is happening.

Game has the Lunar New Year event and there are new skins for Resident Evil, so people are playing and paying for those.

Could be RE I guess but it seems unlikely people would even know about an in game event if they didn't already own the game or follow them on Twitter etc and why would you follow but not own a game anyway?
Could be a sale in another region (possibly Asia?) as above... I dunno
