Will Mangled Be Fixed in the Next Hotfix? It Needs To Be.
I'm genuinely seeing it every other game at this point. It really sucks that so many people just exploit things because they can.
I haven't been playing at all because I can't stand Legion or Doc right now, which seem to be a fair amount of my games. Their builds just center around making matches just absolutely miserable.
Case in point, this Legion match.

Also, if they aren't able to fix it, they should seriously consider killswitching all Mangled add-ons and perks

The mangled status effect now effects mending time and recovery from the dying state. It's currently bugged

It does not actually affect Recovery time, it's only visual.
It does affect Snapping Out of It

It adds like 5s to mending, why would they killswitch an entire status effect for that?

I dunno, because it isn't working correctly and is being abused by players to make unintended interactions?

Yea, as others have said, it's purely visual. So no need to killswitch it.

It does, it makes it take longer to repel Artist’s crows too, for example. And she has an addon that inflicts Mangled (Thorny Nest) so you don’t even need to use a perk slot on Sloppy.
It might be visual for recovery but it absolutely isn’t just visual for mending and some other bugged interactions too.

Pretty sure it's not, but even if it is, it's not that big of a deal that it needs to be killswitched. Killswitch is for game-breaking bugs, and this is not.

It's not visual for Healing, Mending, Dispelling Crows and Snapping Out of It.

I feel like that's just an opinion.
If it were 25% faster healing speeds, mending speeds and Killer power interactions; there'd be a bigger outcry.

I had a game and i told the killer nice abuse of a bug you know what he said...
he said so what i use what the devs give, must not be a bug if it is not disabled.
i said ok and i left, no point in reporting when the devs dont look at reports.

Sloppy is pretty standard fare for Legion builds, I find it hard to believe he's intentionally exploiting. I wouldn't be surprised if he had no idea the exploit exists.

Inner Healing wasn't gamebreaking either, but that got killswitched.

The problem is that mangled itself is the culprit. There would be a lot of stuff they'd have to killswitch. I wouldn't bet my used socks they'll ever do that.
Look, for example, at Knight players all going for that teleport gen grab exploit and he isn't killswitched either because of the archives. I doubt they even ban for that bullshit. If they let that fly, do you really believe they care about you having to hold m1 forever?

Well yeah, that’s way more busted so of course there would be more outrage.
This 100% still should be killswitched though. Hopefully a hot fix is coming soon.

There's a bugged props spawn on Lery's right now. You can get totems, Pig boxes, cages, Freddy's clocks, TVs etc. there and it's unreachable due to invisible wall.
What's the over-under they'll killswitch the map? Because last time totems were bugged on Lery's they stayed like that for months. And on Coldwind. And on Midwhich.

If the effect was the same as the last time it was bugged it would be killswitched.

They should disable the map but I’d bet you anything they’ll either not disable it at all or they’ll only disable the map offering (and not the map) like they’ve done in the past. Which is ridiculous.

Kinda like when Inner Healing was bugged. I seem to remember the killer mains moaning nonstop about that one until it got killswitched.

Free heals for your entire team the entire match was considered game-breaking.
Also, to be clear I am not saying I don't think something should be done (if it really is broken and isn't just a visual bug as I am pretty sure it is) but I don't think they are going to killswitch it. Should they? Maybe. But I don't think they will.

It was pretty game breaking imo but I do find it funny how it got Killswitched quickly even while most of the devs were on vacation, but sloppy butcher is still happily in the game 5 days since the bug was found.

Hopefully. I've been deliberately avoiding running any Mangled stuff on my killers until this gets fixed because cripes is it annoying to face.

It wasn’t that at all. Tbh COH was still better. Inner Healing basically allowed everyone to heal off one totem, but if you were already healed up you got no buff. It didn’t retroactively apply. And of course it removed that totem from the match permanently. A much better healing perk even when Inner Healing was bugged was still COH.
