Merciless Killer/Adept achievements and disconnects

Why don't disconnects count as kills, re: Merciless Killer status? It's kind of a silly oversight that survivors can 100% deny adept achievements to you by disconnecting.

It's the same if a killer DC's when you're going for adept surv, it definitely should be fixed.

It's weird because if the killer DCs it -does- count as an escape for achive challenges that simply require any kind of escape.

I've gotten adept trophies as a survivor if the killer DCed and the match has went on for a certain amount of time. Not sure of the time, but definitely closer to 10 minutes and never in the first 5 minutes.
