Is knight balanced?

Do you think he's weak? What buffs does he need?

    I think he is decent.

    Still it would be nice for guards to be at least 107% and chase for at least 20sec.

    Giving us option to use diffrent guards at the cost of each guard having his own cooldown would be welcome as well.

    Let him use his power when up against an obstacle you want to break, and something so you aren't trying to draw patrols through narrow obstacles at high speed and getting stuck. I dunno, just phase through the wall and correct the path?

    I'd say he's in a fine spot, slightly below average but in a similar way to doctor, wraith and dredge where he's not weak. He's not really a killer who should be too strong because his counterplay is limited, he always gets hits but doesn't get them quickly, so I liked the spot he's in. I enjoy playing against him as it feels chaotic and the banners lead to interesting decisions, but I do see where the frustration comes from. He has some weird addons that could be changed but I'd want them to be careful so as to not make him too much stronger in the process.

    My main gripe is that Map of the Realm and Call to Arms need to be base kit. Until that happens they're basically forced to be ran every game leaving no room to ever run anything else. Some would also argue Dried Horsemeat as well.

    After those required addons the rest of them are all completely garbage. He already needs a huge addon pass just after being released.

    He also still has quite a few bugs such as the guards turning and going around a loop if the pallet is thrown right in front of them.

    Seriously, though, BHVR needs to come up with another fix for the 'lose your power in a wall or prop' thing than just giving him an invisible 2m barrier on being able to use your power. Pallet dropped in your face? Well, break it yourself, don't use the guy whose whole thing is BREAKING pallets; you lose more time backing up to where you can use it.

    And just get randomly screwed by confined spaces.

    ^ This is extremely irritating.

    You end up wasting so much time to move around to where it will allow you to place it that it defeats the point.

    He is just a bad design. Playing as Knight is not rewarding because there is no real skill to learn, only basic tatics. Once you know these tatics he is boring.

    As Survivor he is boring because there is not much you can do. Hold W and sometimes get the flag. mindgame? running a loop? nope ...

    I think the killer is terrible design and souley depends on the map to win or not.

    that applies to so many killers where you would want some add-on as base-kit. PH I want range. Bubba I want chili. huntress I want green wind-up. Doc I want green range. Legion I want mischief list base-kit. GF I want philly base-kit. Artist I want Festering Carrison. The list goes on. Just accept that on some killers, you do not get add-on choices due to killer being too oppressive /s.

    I dont think the last buff did change much. The only thing i noticed is, i am getting way more guards to chase someone, but they are still easy countered by running forward.

    i don't know if i am playing him right, but i'd say his time to down is very high (except you get a double hit with your guard, which is pretty rare imo). There are some little things, i would like to change to make him better in general.

    1. Ability Placement: Pls Bhvr...why does he need to have space in front of him to use his Ability? Its sometimes so damn annoying, if you want to place a guard, but you can't, because you need to have enough space in front of you.
    2. Guard Swap: Yeah, pls make it so we can decide which guard we can use. Even if it means the cooldown becomes longer every time we use the same guard.
    3. A quick Summon Ability: I am thinking about something like this. If a survivor is within a range of for example 10 m, you see this green circle around them, like you see around the gens and if you see that, you can summon a guard. The Hunt Timer would be way shorter compared to a "Path-Hunt", but the Shift W counter wouldnt be as strong, because you don't lose to much distance if you try to get a survivor away from a loop. And additionally it would buff Knight in general, if he could just walk past a breakable wall and quick summon his guard to destroy it.
    4. The last point, if Bhvr belongs to the original thought about his playstyle with using paths: The longer the path, the faster the guards or at least fix the speed of the guards, so my guard won't become outrunned, although i placed him right next to the surv.

    These are just some random ideas, but i guess some of them would be healthy for him.

    #1 is because that's how they fixed his release bug of 'lose power entirely as it got stuck in a wall somehow'.

    Except it makes everything frustratingly clunky. Not just for using his power to break things, but using it in places like Lery's, or the big boat on swamp.

    He's fine after his buffs, he just needs some bug fixes.

    Just let me use my power when I want and not have to readjust my self to activate it.

    He is okay atm. Probably lower B tier / top C tier Killer. I still think his two best addons (Dried Horsemeat + Map of the Realm) should be base kit and maybe buff the Guards (except for Assasin) to 4.2 m/s and not 4.1 m/s.

    Then he could be fully decent B tier Killer who doesn't relly too heavy on addons.

    Knight is... he's knight.

    Is he balanced? Yeah, relatively.

    Is he fun to play? He definitely has his moments and appeal.

    Fun to play against? No. Not at all.

    He is kinda good now but there's a lot more to do in order to make him great

    1)Remove the banner bonus to survivor. It's fine if they can catch up the banner they'll end the chase but WHY the speed bonus AND endurance status ? No other killer has a bonus for survivor in his power.

    2) Remove the inability to summon guards near objects, vault, doors. That's frustrating i have to keep moving around until i can finally manage to be able to summon guards

    3) Guards AI is kinda meh and often they are stuck behind a wall or swing at air

    4) Almost any addon is crap

    He needs to be able to despawn a summoned guard by pressing the power button again
