I'm taking a looooong break
I find myself in a difficult situation where I have to make a choice between uninstalling or keeping this game installed in my library. I for sure had a good time for a bit but something is scratching a small piece of my brain and it makes me want to quit for good. What really makes want to uninstall is because almost daily I have to deal with toxic players whether they're playing killer or survivor. Killers tend to flush you out and hook camp as soon as they lay eyes on you, survivors T-bagging and being toxic in a SWF/Solo team then tell you how much better they are in any conceivable way and then they tell you to off yourself because I'm meaningless, there are almost always going to be cheaters that you face in a daily basis and the worst cheaters are players who give themselves a small increase in movement speed, bugs that seems never ending, no killswitches made previously when lullaby or mangled were a huge problem where Legion and Doctor with sloppy, coulrophobia and lullaby were almost impossible to deal with, lag on consoles and PC, broken matchmaking, and too many useless Add-ons.
I think I'm just going to take a long break, but I don't think anything will be alright in the foreseeable future.

guess what, you making a post about it won't fix it. there's no need to announce for every retirement just to say "players are toxic and salty".

We see this kinda posts nearly daily, but I think that your post is one of the better: it got valid complaints and is not just an endless rant about essentially skill issues, but real problems this game got.
I will stay and play others on the side, but I fully get your drift and wish you the best, OP. Maybe we can welcome you back into the fog in the future, maybe this is a goodbye for good. And maaaaaybe someone higher up will read this goodbye and think about it? You never know.

Thanks man I appreciate it. I understand I'm sorry for making this post.
I'll probably keep it installed and play once in a few weeks or so but that's about as much I can spend on it without losing my mind. There are still things I like about this game for instance this game is the only game with so many licenses that I truly adore. Silent hill makes me think back in the days of playstation silent hill and classic halloween movies that I watched since I was a kid. I love the variety in this game but it usually is dumped down to meta perks which is so weird when there are hundreds of perks available to choose from and only a handful is being used.

But OP has the right the vent thier frustrations like someone else said OPs post may be like other "I Quit" posts but it does have valid points that can and should be discussed as a community.
Only then can BHVR understand what we are feeling other than unnecessary BHVR hate threads or doom sayer threads.
