(DS changes) I did the math.

Enduring makes DS's stun last 0.75 seconds. This means Enduring basically FULLY counters a DS hit.

I love it.
Edit: math is wrong.

Enduring doesnt reduce the stuntime by 75%, it increases the recovery by 75%. And there is also a 1s animation at the end. The new stuntime with enduring is
    (3s/1.75 = 1.71s) + 1s = 2.71s

Also known as reduction of stun time?

It reduces the stuntime for pallets, but increases the recovery for DS. They explained that in a devstream, but wanted to keep the perk description simple. Also current DS would last 1s if it reduced the stuntime.
And the 1s animation was also explained in a dev stream, since people measured the time and it was not correct. So devs corrected the 5s stuntime to 4s (plus the 1s animation)

I rarely see killers run Enduring. Typically I see killers run BBQ, NOED, Ruin, and (usually) Sloppy Butcher. I also doubt that the stun time is that short with Enduring.

Making another perk basically "have to" on the killers side..... I really really dont like that tbh.

guess almsot every killer will run BBQ+ruin+enduring+4th perk soon

Thanks for the explanation. Let's see what happens.

Ds is a ######### perk that always made noob survivors good, they use it to get a free escape from your grasp. Thankfully, they fixed it

NOED is a ######### perk that always made noob killer good, they use it to get (at least) a free instadown/hook/kill.
    Sadly, they don't fixed it.

NOED is the penalty when you gen rush and you have to deal with it. And it's a totem that can be removed. Most good survivors remove it, and you wouldn't get any NOED, but can you stop ds like stopping NOED?

With the new change Yes, just use Enduring and the time of stun is 2 second.

    Or
    U can camping/tunneling again.
Hit the 1st survivor (get unhook) and leave on the ground to bleed.
    Chase the 2nd survivor.
The 3rd survivor go to healing the 1st.

U can Remove 3 survivor from make gen (maybe 4 if they are solo survivor).
    ...

Solo survivor don't know how many totem left (know only that he cleanse).. And for search in the entire map can spend 4 minute.. if all survivor waste 4 minute of time for check all totem , the killer can Take a cocktail and play with one Hand.

Not necessarily.  I used to think that too, but then I realized I was wrong after examining the wording.  Increasing the recovery time by 100% means that you're doubling the recovery speed (as opposed to completely eliminating the stun time), so increasing it by 75% means the recovery speed is 1.75 times faster.

I have seen a very well reasoned argument that states the changes actually bring DS back to being as strong as it was before the 35% wiggle for non-obsessions was introduced.

I personally think this change is a good thing. It should make DS less frustrating on the killer end without destroying it on the survivor end.

That'd be incorrect since I see lots of killer running Enduring whenever they see bright outfitted survivors they'll run that and sometimes spirit Fury for the surprise combo's.

Yes, but right now its an opportunity to run enduring+spirit fury. I rarely do tbh, but after the DS change I think I will include it on most killers and the perk loadouts will vary even less

I've seen for months now Myers run Enduring + Spirit Fury since it's so unexpected and for some they'll run Enduring while the others like me won't worry about it.

I don't really have an issue with DS currently, I eat the stun and once it's gone i just down them 10-15 seconds or so later. If I know or expect they have it I maneuver them to where I want them to go. So it's either no chance to use it or they're still close to a hook right after.

10-15 seconds? If the survivor doesnt know how to loop, then its no problem yeah

If the killers smart they don't down them near a loop it's no problem, it's called planning ahead.

I for one can’t wait till the DS change and as for noed I run small game and I cleanse the totems unless the killer has a secret offering. (Seriously do you want gen rushed?) and as killer I try to apply pressure and I sometimes I don’t succeed but most of the time I do and the new DS will be a great tunneling counter at the endgame especially with deliverance.

    ok bro

That's why I said smart as in killers that plan ahead not killers that come here to the forums and complain about it while ignoring their own poor gameplay.

I'm going to laugh so hard when killers are finally where they need to be since all the complainers on here will have ZERO excuses anymore.
