So, i was reading the PTB notes.....
When I got to the part of the Misc changes, I noticed something that caught my attention
This means that the combo of SH:PR and DMS no longer work together?
I wonder if this means that when survivors get struck by SH:PR and get the effect from DMS, the gen no longer regresses?
SH:PR = Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance | DMS = Dead Man Switch

Generators that are blocked by the entity have never supposed to lose progress, this was confirmed way back when Thrilling Tremors came out
I think it was bugged, but the combo will still work - Pain res will hit the gen and put it into a 'regressing' state but while the gen is blocked it will not lose progress until its unblocked, then regression will resume.
Hopefully that makes sense

@Brokenbones is correct there. The regression should once again resume when the generator is unblocked but it won't continue to regress whilst blocked. If the gen cannot be interacted with, it should not be regressing.

Correct. This was supposed to be how it works since they specified and standardised the generator key words back in patch 4.3.0, over 2 entire years ago.
Once the generator is blocked, it will not regress. It will lose the 15% but will not continue to regress further, even if other perks such as Jolt are applied. Once the generator is unblocked, regression will begin as normal.
