What do you think about Adrenaline?
Since it's meta for a while and you can see this perk every game on at least 1-2 people, what is your opinion on this perk? Are you happy with it? Don't care about it? Dislike it? etc. Do you think it needs any change?

It’s a fair strong perk. It’s a wasted perk slot unless they can make it to endgame. Many times, you may not even get value outside of a sprint burst towards the gate. I definitely don’t think it needs changes.
I understand it can be annoying if somebody is in chase and they get adrenaline mid chase. But that’s best case scenario for the perk.

I really like the perk, I don't use it all that often but when I do I tend to get some value out of it (mostly the sprint part, not always the health state part).
I don't think it really needs any changes. Maybe the only thing I think could/might/possibly change is the speed burst part of it - maybe don't activate it if the survivor is already exhausted? - but definitely keep the healing part of it. But again I don't think that's really necessary. After all, if the team can get all 5 gens done the sprint burst + heal is a nice reward lol.
As a killer I absolutely hate the perk lol. Seeing them heal mid-chase makes me so angry 😂

Some would define Adrenaline as a 'Win more' perk, typically if survivors get all gens done they are usually the ones winning
However Adrenaline is also a huge anti momentum perk for killer and encourages slamming gens and not healing. I can't tell you how many times I've just barely won a game before the last gen got done and in the endgame lobby I saw multiple adrenalines that if they went off probably would've cost me the win.
I think Adrenaline is one of those perks that if there's just 1 it's usually not a big deal but it's power increases expontentially the more survivors have it. I can't tell you how demoralising it is to have 4 survivors injured and dead on hook, last gen pops and they all become healthy.
I like Adrenaline though, I think if you play well enough to make it to endgame with 3 perks then you deserve it.

Great perk, nothing about it I would change

I don't get why some people have such a big problem with Adrenaline, it's a pretty fair endgame perk. I guess it can feel bad to see a few Adrenalines pop and know you probably aren't killing those survivors, but if it got to the endgame and that many survivors are still alive, you already didn't do great and a win is already pretty unlikely.
Though, I absolutely detest that it wakes up sleeping survivors as Freddy. I don't even play that killer, I just hate perks directly interacting with powers like that.

I’m torn on it. I absolutely love the perk as survivor and I use it a lot. And it is good. But I also see it used a lot and its pickrate seems quite high. And I’m starting to wonder if other endgame perks (with the exception of Hope) don’t get used much because Adrenaline just outclasses them. (Though I think Wake Up could use another buff personally, maybe not to the gate opening speed but give it something else extra.)
The wake up from dream world function Adrenaline has does need to be removed though, a perk should never have a built-in hard counter to one specific killer, in this case a killer who is already one of the worst in the game. Yeah, I know it makes sense with lore but that doesn’t matter, balancing should come first.

omg it counters freddys dream world?? I literally did not know this. That's kinda busted lol. And against one of the most struggling killers in the game... Justice for Freddy

Yeah, if you're asleep when Adrenaline procs, it instantly wakes you up. There's genuinely no reason for it, I would love to see it removed as a side detail in patch notes lol

The fact that the new Survivor hud can let people who run this know they can take a hit, get the hit boost and then heal and get a sprint burst is busted.
And everyone who says “it only helps in the endgame” has clearly not seen how it counters end game perks for killer. Or just outright undo progress that killers have made.

Adrenaline has not been Meta for like 2 years. sure its strong but its not META i rarely see it anymore

Adrenaline is fine. It's a strong effect but it activates once over a condition it doesn't help acheive. You could argue it's a slight hindrance in getting there as taking it uses up a perk slot that could have been the difference in getting to the endgame or not getting there.
In my opinion, endgame perks should be strong since the value depends on getting to the endgame and there is a very limited period of time for usage even when it does activate.

I think the same thing could pretty much be said in reverse for perks like noed or no way out, both are perks that I think are fine. Does it feel bad sure, but i think the perk itself is pretty well designed.

An original perk that has truly stood the test of time.

Agree. It's super powerful under a certain set of circumstances, but in many cases it's absolutely useless. Its a risk to run it. From the killer side, you remember all those times you mentioned where you are about to down someone and it procs, but don't really register all the times it was just a wasted slot for the surv.
It's not a guaranteed value perk, which makes it fine.

agreed with the freddy thing, that should just not be a thing. Other tgan that Adren is perfectly fine, imo. It's an endgame perk and people complaining about it having the Potential to turn the tables.... have kinda missed the point of endgame perks. If anything there need to be more competitors / more viable choices. Hope is great - but only if you're someone who expects to be chased through endgame. Personally, I really like wake up, though it's a kinda gimmicky perk atm (and for people like me who just never know where the gates are). No One Left Behind is also nice but even more niche. ...And thats all end game perks for surv already, right?
Only thing I'm not sure about is how it interacts with Terminus atm. They both get triggered by the last gen being completed - and regardless of which perk takes precedent the other side will feel robbed of their perk (tho i think adren should take precedence cause it is "one off" while Terminus is a continued state aka a killer can still get value if they injure the adren surv while Terminus is active. ... Sure, overcomplicating adren to account for a broken status effect along the lines of one health state is restored upon becoming unbroken is also an option... but idk. sth feels iffy about that one.)

i think the exhaustion and healing effect should be removed. it should read like this
"When gates are powered you break into a sprint at X value of speed for Y amount of time. during this period you have enduring"
edit
i would also be fine with it having a debuff cleanse effect. Where you're immune to debuffs for the duration as well.

Doesn't need changes imo

Adrenaline should not activate if a survivor or either being carried by the killer or has been hooked/caged.
I think it'll also activate whenever a survivor loses the broken status affect. We could even go as far as to say it shouldn't activate then either.
Essentially it should be activated either when a survivor is in the dying state or injured. It can activate whilst deep wounded, that's fine.

Carmina doesnt know if she hate Adrenaline or Dead hard

I don't have an issue with it. There's no guarantee they'll even get to endgame, and really - like alot of perks - it can be very good value in a coordinated swf, while not as good in solo.

Terminus normally takes priority over Adrenaline, but Terminus is currently bugged in multiple different ways and one of them is that Adrenaline now gets the priority. (Terminus also reactivates a second time when the second exit gate is opened so it's definitely broken.)

Good but also fair perk. No issues with it.

Overpowered af. People trying to justify it are incredibly laughable. Perk literally erases all your pressure and potential to snowball just because they finished the last gen allowing them to greed the last gen when injured especially when Resilience and Dead Hard reward not healing. Also ridiculous in SWF who can coordinate gens appropriately or when multiple of them have it. Perk should not heal a health state, Adrenaline robs you of so much pressure and snowball potential just because of that.
