Getting increasingly tired of playing killer...
Maps are god awful (and they didnt even bother to fix Red Forest, only made it prettier), our perks for gen regression keep getting nerfed into uselessness, survivors get to keep BNPs and their gen rush perks (even getting new ones...) as well as the Commodious Toolbox, on top of Green Medkits, Dead Hard is still obnoxious, etc.
Its just stressful, specially after the Solo Q buff, which while needed, it made playing killer considerably harder, since the solo teams became more competent cause of it.
Doesnt help that the new killer looks like an utter failure in nearly all aspects... from design, to lore, to power, to her mori and even her perks.
If i dont bring like 2 or even 3 gen perks, i often ended up losing multiple gens in a row, and depending on the killer i might lose them before i even get one or two hooks.
And people wonder why tunneling became so prevalent now, its cause its mandatory against any competent team to get a decent chance of winning.
Idk, thats just how it feels now.

Well lose a few and come down here with me, I see killers get 4k about 5 or 6 times /10 . No survivors use dead hard or run much gen rushing ( might get a pt or something). Eruption right now is seen maybe every 4 or 5 match/ 10 and I can't remember the last time I saw someone tea bag at exit. You get the ######### killer but it's the exception than the rule. IDC what people say low mmr is kinda nice

For me killer is relaxing, survivor is extremely stressfull thats why i never play Survivor again

That means you are a low MMR killer or you're chilling in mid MMR with a strong killer like Blight/Nurse. Either way you're clubbing seals.
Killer has been in a mostly unfun state since forever.
Gens have always been too fast relative to chase times.
Even the 6.0 patch was one step forward and two steps back because survivors got a free base kit perk. The best killer gen regressions were nerfed and even Eruption is getting neutered to be worse than pop. Meanwhile DH remains untouched.
There is no wonder the killer incentive is almost always sitting around 100% except during mornings when survivor mains attempt to play killer b/c their SWF is offline.

Yeah probably still at low/mid mmr, I wonder how many 3k-4k take to get to high MMR. Though I did suffer few loses, where the survivors were extremely effective at gens. Still the killer stress is nothing compared to horrible experience that SOLOQ was.
Also forget to mention but I never play at night or late evenings, so that might be another reason that rarely encounter strong SWF.

I’m a casual killer player and I feel the same way. A lot of matches are not fun. Try to dodge SWF teams and also trying playing during off-peak hours if you can when SWF teams are not as prevalent. I’ve found matches to be much more chill if you’re not playing during peak teams when it’s mostly sweaty SWF teams.

-"Still the killer stress is nothing compared to horrible experience that SOLOQ was"
This game sums up very well how much more stressed the killer is than the survivor at high rank play. True is a killer main but look how unstressed he is playing survivor. Look at how stressed the #1 twins main is during this match.
The hud changes make solo queue play far too simple.

Ah yeah i know about him, see his videos every now and then, and yeah, i know how bad Solo Q was, pretty much the reason i gave up on trying to get to Iri 1 survivor.

Killer will always be more stressful role even if you would have 90% kill rate. Reason is you're all alone agains't team of 4. Im still waiting 2 killer mode.

Honestly this is why I love playing against the bots, and the fact that you can now equip them with perks is even more of a blessing.
I will agree that playing killer is a sweatfest against a well coordinated team. Like you said perks that increase generator repairs get to stay, while generator defense perks continue to get reworked into uselessness: ruin, pop, eruption, etc. It doesn't help either that second chance survivor perks are also a dime a dozen: base kit BT, normal BT, UB, DS, OTR, DH, styptics, etc.
I know some people say just go into each match with a chill mindset, but that's easier said than done when you're constantly getting your ass handed to you over and over. DBD can be a fun game, but we're going on 7 years now with just one singular game mode, and it's really worn out it's welcome. BHVR desperately needs to inject some fresh blood/ideas into this property, because the skull merchant is "bottom of the barrel" material.

You n me both pal

They said they won't do it but they might be forced to do it with the Texas Chainsaw game coming out this year.
That will be 3 killers vs 4 survivors and both sides can use voice coms.

Just be patient until the mid chapter where killers will get .001% faster pallet breaking speed

Tunneling is boring

Dude there are subtle cheaters out there still. Sure there are good swf and loopers but If everything seems too perfect for them it's a dead give away.
Not subtle ones too. I got a last 4k hit on someone last night. They kept springing back up so i downed them over and over. The game disconnected me and I got no bp. Like what BHVR.

I have no idea what my MMR is but I can say that every once in a while I get to a point where I'll simply lose 9/10 matches because I have so many things stacked against me lowering my MMR until I can finally play the game again. I play mostly weaker killers and Hillbilly.
Billy isn't too bad strength-wise but running fun builds and no addons on him will result in you losing against people that can't really hold their own in chase but simply progress faster than you could ever hope to. The same goes for the other killers I play. They simply get outpaced.
Usually I will lose at least 2 gens in 60 seconds. So I'd have to try and get 12 hooks while the survivors do 3 gens. I've played this game for 1 1/2 years mostly without slowdown, tunneling and camping and somehow managed to do ok. Sure, I lost quite a few games against survivors that weren't super good but that was never an issue for me. Now, I get clapped by people that could be either absolute babies or gods. I can't tell when I have 0 interaction with them.
I'm not happy about it but it seems I HAVE to adept. Meaning I will run slowdown again (even though the voices in my head scream at me not to do that) and I will tunnel the crap out of any group with more than 2 items. I'm done being a pushover in 90% of my matches. Playing nice and 'fair' has no payoff, so why should I care about the survivors' fun? They certainly don't care about mine.

I play killer slightly more than survivor but consider myself a survivor main. I can safety say the most stressful role is the one you identify as your main. killers must micromanage gens, hooks, survivors current positions, etc.....and survivor must stress over what gens to pressure, teammates skill level, who going for the save, why teammates not on gens at any moment, etc. Don't think one role is simply more stressful than the other cause it not.

I agree. It's annoying how with MMR the more kills you get the harder the games are. I know that is the point of MMR and you should face tougher opponents as you "win" more. But there comes a point where the lower tier killers cannot keep up. At high MMR you get survivors who take longer to down, gens get done faster as a result, and maps dictate results more with the increased offerings. The higher the MMR the more map offerings you see.
It's just pain when as a killer main I have to basically be laser focused from start to finish in order to do well. I also think that luck is a big factor in games, probably a little more than skill. It is stressful and makes killer less fun for me than before. I don't need to 4k every game to have fun but I don't want to deal with survivors who are really good at looping and do gens effectively every game either.
Also I think gens have become an even bigger problem now. I think most games 5 gens are popped before 3 kills are secured unless there is a DC. To me the difference in a match is whether you can create enough pressure to stop gens 3, 4 and 5 from popping to quickly because gens 1 and 2 always get done fast.
