Since when you can no longer reveal ghost face?
He is litterally in the middle of my screen. Nothing around him. I stare at him he stalks, I get exposed I keep staring at him for solid 2-3 seconds not even reveal sounds coming up.
Do i have to literally go inside of him to reveal him?

Once you get Exposed, you're unable to reveal him.
Before you got Exposed, just bad luck, bad placement, quirky LoS obstructions. Remember you need to be able to see most of GF's body. If he's crouching or leaning, that makes it very difficult, and the smallest obstacle could make the difference.

How far away were you from him? His max reveal range is STILL bugged.

you need to center him, have 40% or more of his body visible. I dont see why people try to reveal, 90% of the time its better to just keep making distance or use los blockers

can confirm that the reveal mechanic is currently pretty buggy , sometimes the ghostface can crouch in the grass and even if you look directly the reveal doesnt start + they said that they reduced the reveal distance but it literally barely lets survivor reveal the killer even within 16 meters

His reveal mechanic is one of the buggiest most inconsistent things in the game.

As noted part of Ghost Face's last rework is Marked Survivors can not reveal him. If you were trying to reveal him while exposed that's why it didn't work. Before, also as noted, it can be inconsistent so it depends on what was around you at the time.

you cant reveal ghostface if he exposes you with his stalk.

The could just be buggy inconsistency and/or addons (I think there's a Ghost Face addon that makes revealing him harder)
If it helps I tend to have the most success lining him up with my head.

Don't try to reveal Ghostface while he can see you. Break line of sight and reveal him from around a corner

It's extremely buggy, even if you do it correctly. I suggest not trying to reveal him while standing still if he's stalking you. He usually wins that interaction. Use LoS and make distance.

His reveal does feel really inconsistent. When I've played as him I feel like I'm constantly being revealed when the survivor shouldn't even be able to see me.

that depends on whether or not you were constantly looking at him or if you were trying to corner peek him. it requires a clear line of sight and a reasonable distance.
i play ghostface regularly and people don't understand how his mechanic works. they'll corner peak and think they're revealing me while i'm stalking them. or they'll try to reveal him while looking at him from a long distance.
youre not actually supposed to stare him down like that.
basically the game has a lot of areas (like fences and killer shack) where he can see you but you can't see him reliably enough to try ro reveal him. so you have to move. if he's staring at you the time it takes to reveal him is less than it takes to fill the meter from zero to exposed, but anything more than halfway and he'll expose you before you reveal him.
and if you get exposed all of your reveal progress is wasted.
sure... it would probably be nice to have a meter that shows progress at the bottom of the screen, but the noise that sounds like a a high pitch shrill is what you listen for. it tells you how close the reveal is. and ghostface hears it too.
so he will crouch, stop leaning, or do other things to prevent it.
there are also addons that prevent hooked players and dying players from revealing for 3 seconds.
other than that idk. i'd have to see video evidence to know for sure what happened.

i cant ever reveal ghost face in swamp. if hes in grass hes impossible. its just buggy.

I had a match against a Ghostface recently.
The only time I was able to reveal him was when I got hooked. (Not even marked)
