Why do blindness addons still exist

BHVR had stats that track addons. They can see what addons are used the most and how much those addons increase or decrease a killers killrate. the most obvious example of when they used this was when they nerfed Marvins Blood.

So, why are Blindness addons still a thing. people do not use blindness addons. i have never used a single blindness addon on any killer in about four years of playing mostly killer. so why does BHVR commit to making GREEN rarity addons apply this useless status affect. even with blindness hiding the hud actions now, that change is nowhere near the rework or buff people have been requesting for this useless status for years.

Skull Merchant, Knight, Mastermind, Dredge, Onyro, Artist. The last six killers have lost an addon slot to this status effect. It being on Purple and Green rarity addons is a ######### joke
