What would prevent me from revealing this ghostface?
Just had a ghostface on the Game map. He creeped up on me stalking me and I saw him clear as day from behind the gen I was on. He was in full view with no pallets or obstructions blocking him. I stood up from behind the gen and came out and stared right at him for nearly 5 seconds and it wouldn’t reveal him. He then marked me and downed me.
After I got off hook he came right back to me and did the same thing. I stared right at him with him in my full view and no reveal again. But he was able to mark me again.
I don’t want to jump right to assuming he’s cheating so what else would account for this? And no I don’t have video because I don’t record my matches.

His reveal is just buggy.

Sometimes you'll reveal him when he isn't even on your screen and other times you can stick NASA's telescope up his anus and it won't reveal him. Tbh as someone who mostly plays ghostface it's the only thing keeping him relevant. If the reveal worked as intended I would hardly be getting any marks.

Make sure he is half way between the center and top of the screen.

This. Definitely makes a difference.
Also, didn't they rework him so that only 1 survivor can reveal him at one time, perhaps another survivor was looking at him?

No it was just me. The rest were on gens in other areas. He never got revealed by anyone.

I haven’t played against a ghostface in a long time. I mostly only play as him. So… does it show you when you’re marked? Because if you’re marked it wont reveal.
