What kind of data is relevant?
Back in October of 2022 I made a post about some data collection I'd done, with well over 200 games recorded. Since then I've taken a break but have been looking at starting again with a larger set of variables but am not sure what constitutes as relevant info. Any ideas? I'm open to starting a discussion if needed

Whatever is interesting to you, really. I'm of the opinion that there's no bad data (when you can sort and filter in a spreadsheet, for example). But it all depends on how long you want to spend recording your matches.
Bare minimum for me would be: kills/escapes/hatch, killer, map.
Next in priority would be: number of hooks, number of gens done, killer perks, items/offerings brought. Maybe even a subjective 'x out of ten' personal rating for how fun the game was for you.
The 'I love data entry' tier includes everything on the end screen and other things the game doesn't tell you: survivors, survivor perks and individual escapes (for 'x perk tends to result in y% escapes'), BP values, break total kills into bleedout/sacrifice/Mori/EGC, and rough match length.

It depends what you’re trying to gather from that data. Are you trying to draw a conclusion about balance or just interesting stats? That changes what I would view as more important for recording.

The intial use of the spreadsheet was seeing what perks and play styles resulted in consistent kills. I was contemplating factoring in survivor perks and how that affects escape rates.

This is an older example of what I was doing in October

Hooks per kill, hooks before first kill, amount of time spent "camping", time till each gen pops, length of chases, result of chases, time spent in the dying state, hatch escapes, afks/disconnects/self destruction on hook, map frequency, item/addon frequency, swfs encountered, bp scores in a match, saves/stuns when carrying, sabos

I would say hooks before last gen will pop

What I really want to know is how each killer performs against common tile pieces.(L-T walls, main houses on specific maps, shacks on each map and so on...)
And I also want the same killers on the same maps with data showing players that just 'W' + pallet as able.
I guess we need about 100 games of each killer per map times 2 to compare.
So I guess, I'm asking(nicely) for you to record and break down 30 killers, 100 games each, times 2 for each survivor approach to evasion.
I'm not sure if the injury state sprint will matter or not. Can you do all of the above twice accounting for both scenarios?
Appreciate you!
