Bugged Trapper Achievement For Traps?
This is my current progress after I finished two different 'catch X number of survivors in traps in a single trial' challenges.

I had this problem when working on this challenge years ago as well. My solve, don't know if anyone else has extra information, was to 'grab' the survivor out of the trap. Hitting the survivor. Then picking them up in the dying state did not count for this achievement.

Two things:
You need to grab them from the trap.
Steam is slow with updating the progress on achievements.

Confirmed. if you M1 them while they're in the trap and then pick them up it doesn't count.
As mentioned above you have to pick them while they're struggling in the trap.

As others have stated you have to grab them out of the trap. I had the same issue with mine.

Gotta grab them, itd be nice if it counted trapping them
