it's annoying but just leave the game and punish him with a pip, that's what I do. Unless you teabagged or played a squadette, then you deserved it.

I see two reasons why Killers continue to do this;
1 survivors are making it work for them
2 they are enjoying all the salt because you can't just move on to the next game
The time before your first hook is the most crucial simply because you may not get another chance.5 -
We could do something constructive instead. For instance, reward a killer for switching targets and going on independent chases, rather than guarding kills. That reward could be either monetary gain (BP) or in the form of extra help (affected generator times for initiating chases with new victims).

survivors who were hooked should have way reduced actionspeed if the devs really wanted us to not tunnel/camp.

I totally understand one the gates are powered since that's legit but I've been seeing P3 killers, Huntress, Nurses even legacy killers camping at 5 gens remaining to be done. You of course punish them by gen rushing them then they complain about swf, no skill gen rushing.
This also isn't related to anything than bad killers being in ranks they don't belong at and still somehow either safety pipping or actually pipping somehow.
It's actually pretty pathetically funny when it's an omega blink legacy Nurse with several k hours played and they just sit there smacking the person on the hook. They had no problem ending the chase and downing the person within the 1st 30 seconds of the match.
Also it's been worse since the DS changes have been announced so it's almost like some killers are throwing a temper tantrum simply for getting the rework they've wanted. They won't be able to blame all their poor play on DS anymore so they're acting out.

It don’t matter how a killer plays, I find that 7/10 matches I play I get rude messages from dead survivors who think the killer is supposed to be nice and help them escape. The killer is there to kill you all by whatever means necessary, survivors are there to survive by whatever means necessary.1

Camping at 5 gens is lame, now and again doubling back to intercept or baiting .. sure maybe, strategy might work some times. Revving a chainsaw in some ones face for 2 mins though. Have to agree it dosn't benefit any one.

The problem is survivors feed those types of killers points. Just go do gens and hope the survivor hangs on as long as possible. It’s the only way to punish them unless they have noed at the end.1 -
But what if we camp with LF farming for salt and move on to the next game? Also, many campers can play the game fairly well, they choose to camp normally to get salt.

As with gen rush, I just use an endgame build on Pig. Bloodwarden, NOED, Ruin, Remember Me / MYC.0 -

For instance, injured survivors could have a 10% repair speed decrease or when secondary objectives hit Dead by Daylight, have survivors move slower when not in the killer's terror radius (increasing travel time).1 -
