Fewer medkits in bloodweb?

I noticed on all my characters lately, med kits are more rare. My Kate went two whole prestige levels without even seeing one brown medkit! Is this happening to anyone else or am I just extremely unlucky? :(

    Just unlucky.

    One of my bloodwebs yesterday had 2 green medkits, 2 gel dressings and another brown and yellow. It's not common to get that of course but at the same time most of my bloodwebs past lvl 10 or so do have at least one.

    I've said it before but patch 6.1 bloodweb "improvements" caused this exact problem.

    BHVR didn't improve the situation at all, they made the nodes cheaper true, but the new bloodwebs also give you WAY LESS CHOICE.

    I mean, just look at this:

    On the left, you can choose between:

    • 2 medics + 1 syringe
    • 3 perks
    • 1flashlight + 2 bulbs

    On the right, you are FORCED to get:

    • 1 perk
    • 1 medkit

    Aren't interested in a medkit? Too bad, the old system would have let you pick a flashlight instead.

    BHVR made the bloodpoint nodes cheaper, true, but due to the forced prestige system, you spend a lot of these bloodpoints on levels 1-30 which offer way less choice than the levels 40-50. As a result you end up with a lot of garbage stuff instead of the items you're really interested in, especially as survivor (who get keys and maps which 99% people don't care about).

    I didn't play enough with the old bloodweb to compare, but I do feel like we don't get enough items in it. Too many map offerings (which are trash for me as I don't use them), too many luck offerings (which are not only completely useless but promoting unhealthy gameplay), not enough items.

    So when there are items, and it's not the one you prefer, yeah, it's more noticeable.

    The items in themselves are not expensive, but when you take into account all the random stuff you'll never use, that brown medkit actually costs in the tens of thousands bloodpoints. Do I really want to take into a game an item that cost me more than I can reasonably make in that game, only to die anyway and lose it because I'm trash at surviving ?

    Anyway. Team Ace in the Hole, you don't choose, but you don't lose !

    I get a lot of crap in the blood web. Mostly add ons but no actual items and yeah medkits are rare. However I do usually see brown ones but hardly every any green, or yellow and purple.. forget it.

    Yeah it is really weird, I've been forced to run CoH on Kate because no medkits, and yeah not even brown ones haha. It's just been giving me pure junk!

    Just use Plunderers or that perk that guarantees a Med-kit out of a chest. I have about 300 of each kit doing that. Better than waiting on improvements to the blood-web that'll take another 3-4 years to be implemented.

    I've noticed both on killer and survivor that at some point in the past few months, the blood web changed and now has fewer decent items. Toolkits are hard to come by, iridescent addons are few and far between, and everything desirable in the blood web has been decreased.

    The game may have changed how Bloodwebs appear... by making things cheaper and the prestige system in general... they must have realized that once a player has all of the perks they will target Items and addons starting with the best
