they are probaply that useless, cuz there is a bubba facecamping their hook, trying to unlock their jake mask...

The same could be said about Claudettes. Either they're farmers or urban evaders who self care nearby well into your second stage and then finally go for you.

I hate when people do that. They always heave to be fully healed.

    I take offense to this

I've met more crappy Clauds than Jakes personally, so I agree with this. Then again, like 40% of people play Claud so the sample size is much bigger

Yeah, it's like we can crawl off and heal together. xD A lot of times the killer is no where nearby, too.

Yeah, you get bad and good players with every character. Most of the Jakes I've seen were either chill/memers or they've been playing for a long time and are really good.

This applies to any survivor really.

Self Care spoiled some survivors to thd point where they seemingly get a mental breakdown and lose all their nerves when they aren't healthy in a minute.

At least Clauds do things, urban invasion is good, but Jake's do farm or very much are useless, idk. Yes there are some out there, but when i play killer it's usually a jake dead first just because they end up farming, or just a little bit on the useless side

Your joking right? I main Claudette and I'm nothing like that... I hate how people make stereotypes for people who just play a skin.

But you should never run Iron Will on Jake as you miss out on his funny whimpering.

I'm farmed far more by Claudettes than by Jakes. Typically Jakes are flashy and the ones getting in the killer's face and looping.

Someone could say "I main Jake and I'm nothing like that." Just pointing out something. It's the player and not the character. As I said initially, the same could be said about Claudettes.

Maybe you're overlooking what the topic is about. OP posted a complaint on how Jakes are inept and I gave what I experience as a counterpoint, later adding that you get bad and good players with every characters. Saying there is bad and good players in the community, regardless of the character they choose isn't stereotyping. Pointing out that someone's main also has people who give the character a bad name also isn't stereotyping, especially when they're the one who started with the point. Not sure what else you want.

I agree with this, but it's not always as black and white. There are only two hook stages, so afaik there's no need to prematurely rush a survivor on the second stage?

Yeah, though you get survivors who'll do stuff on the opposite end. Either wait too long to go for the save or they're literally on the killers feet, getting you the second the killer turns away. Obviously not everyone does these sorts of plays.

We’ve had bad experiences with certain survivors. Personally, I do not like seeing Jake’s based on two past experiences

One was when I was hooked by a dock on a small boat and Jake started working on a generator literally right on top of me. The killer was LONG GONE and he sat on that gen and I almost died until a Claudette got me down and Jake wasn’t even halfway done with the gen because kept crouching and working on the gen and just being USELESS.

Another one was just a troll who tried getting us killed but ended up being caught first and DC’ed.

I have had bad experiences on the survivor side with Jake, Claudette, and Dwight players

I have had good experiences with Kate, Laurie, and Quentin players

Just remember that it is the player behind the character not specifically ALL players who play that one character.

I've had bad experiences with Dwight, Claudette, Jake, and Kate. I've had good experience with Quentin, Claudette, Jake, Dwight, and Kate. For example, one Kate went the extra mile to get me off of the ground. Another one DCed 'cause she's toxic. Characters who are popular tend to have more of the base playing them, so there's a higher chance the characters will be toxic or bad.

As a person who plays Jake regularly, let me just say that we are a broken people. We used to be able to remove hooks from play permanently and we had so much power. Flash forward to the present day and Saboteur has fallen from its seat of glory (I understand that though) and even with its buff Calm Spirit is almost never chosen. The only perk people use us for is to silence their wonderful voices. We have a tall stature and loud cries of pain and as such we are often tunneled almost to extinction. On top of standard killers now Leatherfaces threaten our very existence as they relentlessly poach Jake Parks to extinction for our rare flesh.

Our perks are mediocre at best, in terms of base stealth potential we are probably in 3rd place. Our one strength, sabotage, was nerfed heavily as now hooks and even bear traps respawn. We have nothing except a metric ton of trail jackets, vests, and outdoor gear.

So if you see Jakes acting strangely, it is likely because we have nothing else to do as we bide our time.

I was playing with a Claudette and a kate, against a really wraith with purple addons.

I was running after care and saw this kate nearby getting chased. Me and this Claudette where on the gen. I knew a pallet was right there so the Kate was coming to use(obviously) so I snuck into the locker. The Claudette opened it. The Kate gets hooked right beside us. The Claudette’s hiding. Killer doesn’t know I’m in the locker. At this point I’m waiting for the killer to leave the area.

He finds the Claudette, she’s about to go down, and runs right to the locker I’m in on purpose and tries to open it giving away my location. He slugs her then pulls me out. Next thing you know we’re all on hooks.

We we only had two gens left. I was livid man Bc I could of saved the Kate, and then went for her. Instead of giving the team a chance though she’d rather throw the match.

Yeah it be like that sometimes. Our fellow survivors can be the real clowns in this game.
