How to fix the update
Self healing only takes 24 seconds, altruistic healing will remain at 16. Call of Brine goes to 150 instead of 125, and leave Pain Resonance, Overcharge, and Billy’s engravings alone FFS!

I like the idea of increasing healing time and nerfing the best slowdown perks, meaning killers are more in charge of slowing the game down themselves by playing well.
But if 24 seconds is too much, I could see them reducing the healing time to 20 seconds.

As a non genkicking killer, let COB and OC burn in the pits of hellfire.

It’s not gonna work though. You can play safe to avoid the 1st hit, rush gens while injured, and use medkits and We’ll Make It to stay healthy while mostly ignoring the speed reduction.

Then bring back old Pop and Ruin.

I wouldn't be opposed to seeing Ruin go up to 125%-150%, and Pop going up to 25% of current gen progression. That said, the genkick meta is the most stale meta I've ever seen in this game, and I'm glad this update kills it for good.

And yet we’re in for an even more stale meta. Enjoy seeing Corrupt, Deadlock, and Sloppy in literally everyone’s load out.

You forgot to make killer base kicking 1:1 regression with survivor progression and tooboxes be Sabotage only unless they have a BNP.

At least, I can get gens done instead of playing 45 minute knight games.

I would support keeping the nerf to PR if it would no longer be a Scourge Hook.

Super agree.

Honestly they dont even need to reduce COB, all they need to do is make COB and Overcharge not stack together and they would be fine.
Edit: forget to mention that I agree altruistic healing should stay at what it is.

I agree with OP and Pulsar here completely. Nothing more needs to be said.
Just need to test it all during PTB when we can see the numbers in action.

I mean, if 5 minute games are somehow more fun then yeah, W update.

Medkits and we'll make it ware also affected by these changes.
I guess the question is whether survivors will just stay injured and rush gens, but against a lot of killers, staying injured is very dangerous.
I do think the direction of these changes are very good, they might just need to tone them down a bit, which I am sure they will do if too many people complain.
