Is there a reason there isn't native 120fps support and more advanced settings?

Something I've noticed is that the settings in dead by daylight are extremely limited, and I was wondering if there is a reason they can't add options like vsync, anti-aliasing, FPS limit, etc.

I know you can change these settings in the config files on pc, but for those who play on console or cloud gaming services such as geforce now its simply not possible to play with any settings other than the very basic graphics setting presets.

    because 1. they are lazy

or 2. they think it will give players a competitive advantage over players that are trying to be immersed, even though, they're allowing filters & gameusersettings and engine.ini to be modified, so It's totally redundant

I think option 1 is more plausible.
