Encountered my first cheater in the new update
I was just having a regular match as ghostie everything was fine until it was down to the last two survivors dwight and ada. I hadn’t suspected anyone of cheating prior to this but I start chasing the ada trying to mark her and we run into dwight who is injured of course so I down and slug him to catch the ada as you will see in the video I attempt to chase the ada but her scratch marks just disappear and not soon after hatch open which is unusual because theres still two players left? No it wasn’t a visual bug because ada (the suspected cheater) takes me to it and lets me close it. The dwight didn’t dc either he was still slugged on the ground.

can't explain the hatch, but since its an Ada, have you considered:
Would you have the footage of the entire match? From these clips, it's unclear when the hatch spawned. We might be able to glean more from there.

I could only clip the last five minutes unfortunately. She didn’t have that perk equipped I saw once the match was over.

Towards the end of the video you see that it spawns once I head in the direction of the noise notification. I meant to say that in my other reply.

now that you mention it, yes, you're right.
It would appear that the game processes a roguehook state, which would suggest that the game thinks either dwight or ada is dead.

I cant watch the video myself..
though, the Ada let you close the hatch you say? Could be some bug and not actual cheating then… Because, why would she start cheating in that moment and then not even use it for herself?

Are you certain the Dwight was still there? On rare occasions, the HUD will fail to update when a player disconnects and their status will be stuck on whatever they were doing last. Unless you saw the Dwight again, it's possible he DCed.

She got out in the end though once I closed hatch so i’m not sure.

I'm not saying they were or were not cheating, but I've seen a decent amount of pictures where the hatch has spawned with 2 survivors left. Not sure if it's a bug or a cheat, but it certainly has been reported as of late.
