Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

The new meta is worse than the last.

As someone who was 50/50 surv/killer, I personally preferred the old meta. I understand that matches could go on for a while with gen regression, but anything is better than sloppy every match with medkits that don't even manage two full heals and sprint burst with gen rush builds. I didn't use dead hard or circle of healing, unless there was a challenge.

(Speaking of challenges, you can no longer do some of the old ones because the new perks don't work the same way - Eg. Completely heal yourself for two heals using circle of healing.)

I've played for about 4 years and never known a time when dbd was this painful to play. Really hope the Devs fix the core problems in the game, I just don't think it's perks that are the problem. If the Devs don't know how to solve a problem like DBD, it's time to outsource.

I mean look at the last two killers? Seems like there's a lack of fresh ideas.

Really sad to see so many streamers leave the game, but I too have uninstalled until the game is in a better state. Fingers crossed, cause it was genuinely my favourite game for many years.

The new meta hasn't been around for 48 hours, there isn't even a defined meta yet.

It took like month before OverBrine + Eruption rose to prominence

Who cares about meta? You should be able to play with any perks you want and still be successful or at least have fun. That is not the case.

Sadly, I have given up hope the Devs ever figure this mess out they've created.

I feel like people always say this whenever anything that forces the meta to change. Hard to tell what will end up being the meta only 2 days in.

I can say with certainty that I've never complained or been discouraged from playing until recently. I'm not a new player, I've been around a while and we've had some ######### times and some great times, but the game right now is a mess.

These changes haven't just happened since the update, but rather since the update was announced. You go in to any survivor game and I guarantee that 90% of killers have sloppy (or similar perk) does this mean that the Devs will also nerf them now? Not the best business plan.

Should I as a pub landlord stop selling fosters because most of my punters drink it?
