Deliverance and Devour Hope?

Is there a reason why you don't receive a token for Devour Hope when you're 24 meters away from a hooked survivor and they unhook themselves using Deliverance? Not sure if it's the same for 4% unhooks but I'll assume it is.
Granted, I know the description for DH says 'when a survivor is rescued...', not unhooked. But it can be super annoying missing out on a token, just because they had a 100% guaranteed self-unhook.
And technically, unhooking yourself is a self-rescue so why not, huh? XD

I think it’s because they’re not technically losing hope, as they managed to free themselves without the help of other’s, if we had to look at it from a realistic standpoint. Though, the real reason it may not work gameplay wise? Who knows, I wouldn’t think it’s a bug though. But againnnnn, who knowsssss.

Well, I guess that makes sense. Bit annoying when it happens, but it's hardly a major issue so I'm not looking for a rally to the devs. "OMG DEVS MAYKE IT SO DUHLIVURRANCE COWNTS 4 DEVOWHER HOHP" 😂Chaotic_Riddle said:I think it’s because they’re not technically losing hope, as they managed to free themselves without the help of other’s, if we had to look at it from a realistic standpoint. Nice Legion pic, by the way!0 -
IMO self unhooks should count for Devour as long as you are far enough away.
