Here is what will happen by next mid-chapter
Since this patch increased the misery of both gens flying and camping/tunneling, here is what we will see:
- Corrupt Intervention (90 second version) base kit
- Lethal pursuer (minus enhancement to other aura reading perks) basekit. Survs will complain this makes Distortion mandatory.
- Deadlock gutted
- Jolt gutted
- PR dialed back to 15 percent (or maybe 20)
- OTR base kit, and if you are hit in first 10 seconds off hook (triggering BT) OTR stays on.
- DS goes to 5 seconds
- BNP gutted
- Toolboxes nerfed in both speed and duration
- Prove thyself and resilience gutted

Killers will never get basekit anything.

corrupt: This is needed and out of everything here the most likely to happen
lethal: HORRIBLE IDEA
dead lock: I don't even think this perk is that good. I never hear anyone complain about it
Jolt: whyyyy!! The most balance gen regression perk ever.
Pain res: :(
OTR: At best survivors will probably get a new anti tunnel perk.
Toolboxes: A couple more patches and survivors best items will be a green map and a dull key.
Prove and resilience: I can kinda see that happening one day.
I really hope they do something about busted addons across the board next patch. BNP, TS peice, MD

Yea, don’t hold your breath. While gens go fast, and I’m pretty bad at loops when playing killer, I’m doing okay with one of the weaker killers in the game (Myers). I get mostly 2-3ks unless matchmaking screws me over or the map is severely survivor sided.
If anything, tunneling out the weak link makes up for their gen rushing.
Only thing this game needs is better map balancing, buffing weaker killers and bringing the stronger ones down (only after making the maps more fair for the weaker killers).

Will probably get a strong gen regression perk with new killer due to killer really have no too much gen regression perk now.
And then get nerf in the next patch.
Kind of like what happened to hex: undying

So 6.1.0 never happened right?
12 -
I think we'll get a quick Thana-like rushed toolbox nerf and nuking PT despite it being balance. They might walk back on their Overzealous buff and make it not worth bringing.
I don't think they'll give killers basekit perks this time. Just the nerf hammer on the survivor side, as right now it would be uncalled for to nerf the remaining gen regression perks.

Sadly, pretty sure that Jolt is next on the chopping block. It's one of the only effective anti-gen perks left, so BHVR is sure to nerf it to oblivion. This patch has proven that their intention is to remove any anti-gen progress from Killers.

You mean this?
50sec Gen
50% Brutal strength
25% STBFL
10% PGTW
22% faster Blood lust
10% less distance on hit
5 -
Toolboxes and add-ons nerfed.
All survivor perks that help with gens nerfed.
Gens themselves nerf.
Killer add-ons strong ones (the chosen killers nerfed)
Killer add-ons that have to do with slowing down healing nerfed.
Killer perks that have to do with slowing down healing nerfed.
The new meta perks nerfed.
No buffs!
Everything will be nerfed till there's no point in running perks, items or add-ons killer/survivor.

Well, except basekit Brutal Strength and STBFL. And a mini pop with no time constraint.
Will never again though.
2 -
As if any of that is impactful….lol. Those changes are nearly meaningless.
1 -
Can you tell the number it should be to be meaningful for you?

I highly doubt anything is happening with jolt or deadlock.
I doubt lethal pursuer as a basekit, I feel like it would be considered too fundamental of a shift to the game's concept.
If they did basekit corrupt intervention I imagine it would have a much shorter timer. Like 15 seconds, something that stops survivors from jumping on gens right away, but still gives reason to take the perk.
PR is fine where it is.
BNPs have to be on the nerf block. They'll probably try to do toolboxes at the same time, but they should just do BNPs and take some time to adjust before moving onto toolboxes in general.
DS to 5 seconds should happen.
OTR instead of BT might have been what they should have done anyway back when they made the change, but being they didn't I don't think they are going to change it.
Prove Thyself, probably not. Grouping up comes with a lot of downsides.
Resilience, we'll see how it goes.

I would have to test it to say. I mean for one thing, you talk about STBFL as if it is relevant. It’s good on a few killers who are able to follow up with a projectile. With most other killers the survivor still makes a structure/pallet.

With most other killers the survivor still makes a structure/pallet.
Um...you mean you want survivors should not able reach to another title or pallet after the first hit?
0 -
I mean that using a perk slot, and strategizing to not hit the obsession, should be rewarding. The main problem this illustrates is that maps are too dense with pallets. The measly “basekit stbfl” means nothing.

*me sitting in a chair eating popcorn watching the devs try to fix bullet holes with bandaids*
A tale as old as time.

They are actually going to nerf the doctor.

Im talking about basekit STBFL buff.
You would like basekit STBFL buff to be able to hit survivor the 2nd time before they reach to a title? Because...
With most other killers the survivor still makes a structure/pallet.

You don't use Corrupt and Lethal as they have the same base effect. You know where the cluster of players is with either perk.
0 -
You’re boasting about the basekit change. My point is that it’s irrelevant, mainly because of pallet density. I’m not saying the survivor should instantly downed, but I am saying that pallet numbers need to be drastically reduced.
