I was quite surprised when I returned to DbD yesterday

So I played a couple of rounds as survivor, roughly escaping 50% of the matches. This confused me since many people claim that survivors would be completely unplayable (or enjoyable) after the midchapter patch. To be fair, the community usually thinks an apocalypse will happen each time something gets changed/nerfed/etc. The new auto-buy bloodweb functions seems great and saves a lot of time. The small HUD icons next to the survivors also help getting the rough location of teammates, generators, etc. I also played a match with Wraith and even on the reworked Mother's Dwelling I managed to get a good game (11 hooks). The survivors were also pretty decent (1 experienced survivor, 2 average survivors and 1 „black sheep“). So that makes me wonder. Am I the only person that thinks DbD is currently in a solid state?

Note: I know that there are some things that need to be addressed and perk balance is continuously going on. Sometimes Bhvr does mistakes, but perhaps they'll learn from them and do better in the future.

I think the problem is that most people don't want to play the game since they're burned out of it. They all join a match and they just don't want to play. That's why there are so many people DCing for the slightest thing.

They all need a break just like I did for a little over a month.
