Demogorgon reskin?
Would it be possible to resking Demogorgon as something else like a werewolf or a moleman? I haven't played DBD when Demo was available and I don't want to pay 75-100$ to get him. Reskin as an original character should be possible, right?

Sadly no because even if they reskined Demopuppy the fact that below that it's the same licensed character. They would have to change his powers and everything to make it possible. At that point he wouldn't be Demo anymore.

They could also negotiate some terms with Netflix to get the chapter back to life... and the map aswell.

I loved that map. Not even rose tinted glasses, I legitimately liked it and was sad to see it go.

Honestly I’m not sure of the legality of it but if they can rebrand the perks I’d imagine they could rebrand the killer
But I doubt bhvr want to spend time reskinning a killer instead of making a new one

Tbf they rebranded all the perks just fine. They could literally just make a new killer and give it demo’s power with a new skin
Like for example a werewolf who can pounce and use tunnels. The only issue is bhvr would spend time on reskinning instead of making a new killer

Ah copyright issues. And it's kinda difficult to just make a new killer With exactly the same mechanics. Werewolf doesn't fit a portal/tunneling mechanic.
Although the idea of a giant humanoid tunneling naked mole rat is an unnerving one.
Lot of effort for bhvr to just rerelease a less cool version of an existing killer, they won't bother.

Perks are one thing they are akin to DbD not Stranger Things, but Demo and his power is akin to Stranger Things sadly that's why they didn't reskin Hawkins (I'm glad I hated that map with a burning passion).
It would be similar if I took a bottle of Coke rip the lable off and put my own lable calling it VFuel. Coke can sue me for selling their product labeled as my own. To reskin Demo he would need a whole new power than the upside down.

If they can't make a reskin they should just make a monster killer that plays like Demo's game play loop. Maybe like an Alien that does a dash and instead of portals they have a slowdown from eggs or somethin'. That would be badass honestly

I may have misconstrued the post, when I first read it a couple hours ago I thought the post was calling for a new demo skin. Which is a good way to get sued, idk why I thought that because it's pretty obvious that's not what the post is about. But basically adding a new killer that's just Demogorgon again would probably be legal, but I don't think releasing the same killer again would go over well.

When they showed the Spider creature hybrid from the one archive, it seemed that they maybe would bring it in with the same power scheme as Demo to make it avalible again for newer player's, although that would of been probably not a great chapter for those that already had stranger things. I stopped thinking they would do it, or bring that creature in, a long while ago though.
