lets discuss hex totems and a possible ruin buff for healthier gameplay
Right now it has 100 percent regression and is disabled after a survivor death (along with the nerf of being a hex/cue overzealous boost)...would it be so crazy to keep everything the same but buff it to regress 200 percent(possibly back to 100 if within a 32 meter radius of the killer to prevent gen camping)?
It promotes a healthier game dynamic since it encourages chases for gen pressure and even with undying isnt that impactful currently...what are the communities thoughts?
Are there any other hex totems you feel deserve a buff and/or nerf?

Keep everything the same but make it 150%

Honestly the death condition should be removed too.
Just about every hex outside of devour hope, Pentimento, and noed could use buffs.

this account is nonstop bait posts that start with "lets discuss"

Generally yes. Though I do think Ruin needs a buff.

It was 200% and would not disable with someone died.
Still, people need to combine it with undead otherwise nobody would run it.
So making it all the same but 200% may not ne enough to help.

Ruin’s regression speed should be increased slightly, but not back to 200%. The death condition should stay, it’s healthy.
As for the others, Crowd Control needs a buff. Maybe Third Seal too, though I think that’s more of an issue with Blindness in general than it is with the perk itself.
NOED is mostly fine now but I think being able to hook near the totem and just defend both the hook and the totem making a save impossible is dumb, wouldn’t mind seeing something done about that. None of the other hex perks need any nerfs.

how would you buff them?

Each individual hex??

noed comes down to rng luck...crowd control needs to last longer

Ruin is a dead perk - thanks for playing.
If you want hex totems to be a healthy killer experience then change them as follows:
The killer can re light any unlit totem (other than undying) instantly by clicking on dull bones just like a pentimento interaction.
Survivors can remove hexes forever by removing all the bones.
This is the beginning of making hexes useful.

I'd be into killers being able to see all dull totems and they can go to the dull totem to light the totem. I'd say you should be able to keep relighting the totems though

Totems never get used because they are once and one. Consider for a moment Bamboozle. Is the perk overpowered? No it is completely fine. What about the hex version that basically does the same thing : Crowd Control? Inherently underpowered because it is a hex that gets removed.
Funny enough at one point we suggested Dead Hard should be a boon and then every survivor was like hell no - because they were worried about the killer kicking their boon that can be infinitely restored.
Boons should be kicked once and removed forever and Hexes should be cleansed once and removed forever OR both should be able to be rekindled as long as there are bones
Killer should be able to break bones with a "stomp" interaction as part of the base kit.

it would still lead to more chases like it used to in theory

what would happen to totems that collect tokens though?

whichever ones you want to discuss ^_^

and your contribution on the question?
how is discussing a healthier game change a bait post?
2 -
it would make a nice change but then it would be like the old undying and seen as oppresive (undying/ruin being up most of the game for 6 months and then undying was nerfed)

You don't get tokens until you initially place the hex

Not in favor of any more perks that increase/decrease gen progression/regression

I would buff all hexes by making their totem being light up only if their effect is in use. So ruin totem would be burning only if any gen is currently regressing, and changed into dull totem if gens are 0%, 100% or repaired atm.
I would also suggest second buff, more controversial, but healthy imo.
while totem is dull it is not tied to any curse, and hex can be clensed only if hex is light up (if hex is burning while clensing it cannot fade out in time of clensing/blessing and 3s after interrupted. If all dull totems are clensed, then no hex can use its effect. If there are only hex totems, then new effect cannot be applied untill one of hexes fades out.

Lullaby defo needs a buff. How about this- each token also makes the skill check 4% faster.

Ruin doesn't really encourage thoughtful gameplay, and it only serves to make mobility Killers (who are already the strongest) stronger.
I don't think it needs a buff, because it is effective on those whose kit can take advantage of it. If it becomes viable on non-mobility Killers, it becomes busted on mobility Killers.

or, the hex totem doesn’t activate until the first survivor is hooked. So it does long get cleansed early.
