No because if they were they would not keep adjusting, reworking, nerfing, buffing things all the time. They try and things get better and other things get worse.

I imagine they are not, hence why they've done a number of overhauls over these last few updates.
However, I do think they're running into the same struggle I run into when people talk about ways to fix the parts that are just super unfun (specifically tunneling and camping). I have never heard of a fix that I felt was a fix that wouldn't also affect innocent killers doing nothing wrong (either because it's EGC so what the hell else are you gonna do or because survivors specifically use those mechanics to their advantage like how many people bodyblock with BT rather than getting away).
Along with that, I don't know if the creative juices are just running out or if the schedule of DLC has finally just burned out the team but BHVR really needs to get a handle on their DLC characters. While those mechanics above can be really annoying, new characters have done a lot of the heavy lifting to keep this game going but I think it's fair to say the last two killers were pretty much duds (even if I personally do enjoy playing as The Knight).

When they add a new killer, new survivor, new map, then they need to adjust every existing element of the game to keep things balanced. Not to mention trying to keep two sides of a player base happy that constantly complain that the other side has it easier. Must be hard work, but I imagine they are generally happy.

I honestly don't think they care about anything besides money. They are a company and that's justified but the quality of the game just keeps declining, because every time they address a huge issue they add in their own ill-thought changes and ruin something else.
I don't think this community has the best ideas always but they are far better than the birdbrained ideas BHVR often implements.

I can See the Killers base speed is going to get nerfed since some Survivors are complaining about it

I don't think so. Reviews on Steam were negative for a long time (it is now "mixed"), plus, based on statistical data the number of players have significantly dropped.

Is the game profitable? If yes then I’m sure they are fine with it.
Just because they change and adjust doesn’t mean they are unhappy with their own product.

The review issue is pretty much a review bomb by survivors who did the same on other platforms as well as on twitter or other media.

True, it is only temporary, but many outlined they would like to see better and / or more horror-like killers once again. Neither Knight nor SM were a success.

I don't think that just because they're adjusting things that means they're unhappy with how things are. That's just part of developing a live service game. The devs can be happy with the general state of the game, but there will always be something that can be improved upon.
I've been playing this games since 2017, and I can honestly say this feels like one of, if not THE healthiest spots the game has been in, even if the last two chapters were kinda a letdown. If the devs say they're happy with the state of the game, I'm inclined to believe them

Is that so? Solo survivors complain about killers who complain about swf. SWF seldom complain, because they hold all the aces.

This begs the question: why not skip a chapter? And devote some more time to balancing. I wouldn't mind it. Rifts are still fine as people get to decide if they want such rewards or not.

There were killers on this forum calling for review bombing when Eruption was nerfed. That it's a survivor issue is bs.

Honestly it's the general us vs them mentality people like this have which is where 90 percent of the issues of this game have stemmed from. like most people who play this game never play the opposite side it feels like.

Litterally both sides are a struggle these days. Survivor atleast is more chilled out and I expect to lose, but then its a kick in the teeth when I decide to play killer straight after a few survivor losses and the survivors give me a hard time 🫤
