I don’t really like the idea of basekit DS but I guess if it buys a player a little more playtime it isn’t all bad.

I mean I dont think that the devs are survivor or killer sided, but these changes dont really address the issue that OP brought up

That's beside the point. The truth is; BHVR do actually address survivor and killer issues. It takes them longer than I'd like but it's not that they 'ignore' survivor issues. This whole debate about tunneling and camping is as old as the game and they already attempted to 'fix' this with limited success.
Base BT was literally introduced as an anti tunnel / anti proxy camp mechanic and I'd say it does a decent job. It makes tunneling harder than it used to be (even with BT) for the cost of nothing.

The devs say a lot of things that are wrong - i.e the repeated Billy nerfs

Increase hook state time by 1 minute each. Boom, campers reduced by 70%.
People camp because you can get easy 2 kills by literally standing still. Low risk, high reward. Increase the time so survivors can counter this by focusing on gens, and suddenly getting more than 1 kill by literally standing still starts becoming a struggle.
They already have systems to deactivate stuff like this if it's EGC, so if it's that bad for people who only camp on EGC because there's nothing else to do they can just revert the time in EGC and boom, legitimate instances of camping saved.
Besides, it's not like killers get that many kills by letting hook states run out. This system is working against players that struggle in solo-q, so it's just there to punish people that have a hard time with the game already.

Seems you are missing a huge chunk when all those killer perks got nerfed into the ground and no circle is not useless in a group it's even more powerful then before.

So survivors on gens after a bit auto fail or get fatigued. gotta love one sided suggestions.

And so is survivors whining that we should spread out hooks out and let them do gens.
If your being tunneled why not learn to waste the killers time?

I just want to say one thing the devs are doing good I'm having fun yes I get games that are frustrating but guess what? Every multiplayer game feels like that.
You know why tunneling and camping feel worse mind you they have always been a game strategy. It's because your Crutch DH hot nerfed so now survivors have to learn to play better just like all the killer nerfs made as change out builds and play styles.
It's 4 v 1 it should not be even.
They only suggestion I have is maybe a bonus BP to all survivors if atleast one survives?

The older you get, the more you realize that everyone shits when it suits them. Some are just aware enough to wash their hands.

But Killers have to get 3 hooks onto one survivor to Kill them
Not to mention finding them, chasing them, downing them and taking them to a Hook
