I hope the anniversary is at least good
After two dumpster fire chapters we need a win. Ill be honest if you exclude projected w the last 5 chapters were trash.
We need a licensed chapter. Bhvr has shown that they cant make good original chapters anymore. Also the anniversary chpaters are supposed to be special. We got ghostface, pyramid head, cheryl, jill nemesis and leon in 3 straight anniversaries. Last years was a massive downgrade doing from cheryl to jill and leon to …haddie. Ugly character with garbage perks That No one plays especially compared to the 3 survivors before. Hell kate was anniversary survivor and she was received well. The map was trash for killers and dredges knightfall is just terrible design. At least he looks cool i guess.
please give us a good survivor, good killer, good map and good perks, pretty please🙏

Project W saved the last year. We got fun killer and decent survivors with it.
Other chapters were terrible tho.
Roots of Dread: Dredge is meh-tier killer and Haddie is very bad survivor. I don't like both of them. Map is terrible, i hate play killer on this map.
Forged in Fog: Boring killer. Survivor is good at least, i liked Vittorio, he has different style. Another terrible map.
Tools of Torment: Another boring killer. SM is terrible. Survivors are also soooooooo boring and bad. Probably the worst DbD chapter ever.
I am hoping the next chapter is good but i am expecting another bad chapter honestly.

Honestly, after 2 dumpster fires.
I would take a boring chapter like roots of dredge. Just don't be as bad as tools of torment and forged in fog

Dredges design is good and creative, the implementation could have just been better to avoid common triggers and general uneasiness.
Haddie is a great design ESPECIALLY compared to Kate (who I do like for her lore, but let’s face it, she looks super generic)

Personal opinion, yes, but imagine seeing everything you like about the game being slowly removed. I don't even know what I am doing here, truth be told.

Roots of Dread was fine. Dredge is good/unique, Haddie is a great survivor with trash tier cosmetics.
The last two, however...woof.
Another one like those and BHVR might really, truly have a problem. It would be very bad if any hypothetical leaks indicating another original for the anniversary were actually true. One would hope such a reported leak was a misdirection or hoax.
The anniversary needs to hit.

Wouldn't call Knight chapter a dumpster fire. A bit lacking in some aspects but overall decent all things considered. Tools of Torment, on the other hand, really is one. I really hope the anniversary chapter isn't gonna be another obvious "license holders pulled out at last minute so we came up with something real quick from the assets".

I like Knight, too. Getting aggravated with the negativity going towards him.
Great aesthetic. Not overly oppressive yet unique playstyle from the killer perspective.
The gen kick meta has been nerfed so I am not even sure why people still dislike him cause I thought it was three genning meta and not the Knight that garnered all this negativity.

I assume it'll be an okay to decent chapter based on previous years. Going from the past all the June release killers are
Clown, Ghostface, Pyramid Head, Nemesis, and Dredge.
It's usually the chapter after the anniversary that's a real banger though.
Spirit, Demo, Blight, Pinhead, and Wesker.
If the pattern keeps up, this chapter will be not bad and the one after will be a big name killer; Alien, Chucky, etc.

Not holding my breath for a good original chapter. Those have been mostly misses for close to 3 years now. This is what BHVR is at this point. And if the last two chapters are any indication, they're not learning the right lessons from the misses.
I would love nothing more than a banger chapter for the anniversary. Another Blight, PH, Oni, Plague, or just something actually fun and interactive.

I agree. I flocked right to Haddie when she released as I personally found her look/design unique/different (not a bad thing). I personally feel the devs forgot about her (lack of cosmetics) so of course the players did. It got worse for Haddie when Thalita released because I have not touched any other survivor since....not even my precious Nancy😥
In case I wasn't clear Thalita = Best survivor ever. I just got to cut her brothers brake line....swear that douche is always around.

It didn’t help that Haddies model was kinda off for a way too long time, but luckily they finally fixed that! And it looks like she (and others that got so few) will get more cosmetics now going forward

I still love the Knight and its chapter. Couldn't stand Skull Merchant so to me, its only been 1 awful chapter recently. I'm also not a Wesker fan so don't see anything remotely interesting in the Felix lookalike.

I think you’re mistaken. There was no survivor with the Dredge release.

I just want an alien of some kind. I don't care if it's a Xenomorph, E.T.'s creepy finger, or an original character. We need us an alien.
