Bring back few fun
Bring back the funny tricks with the flash light, like burning the nurse burn, or the wraith burn. It was fun and fair. Hard to do and it was a fair counter against killers.

Yeah removing lightburn off wraith was so stupid and now they all over the play like roaches , one of the most easy brain dead killers in the game

I liked killers with weaknesses like that, both to play as and against, because it got you to think.
It's also something that was rarely complained about. My guess is perhaps a dev wanted to play as Wraith, had a bad game and thought: "Right! I'm removing this crap right away!".

I agree partially.
I like that Hags Traps cannot be burned but there is a Basekit-solution for it. Now they just need to delete Hag and I am even more happy.
Aside from that, I think that every Killer should have a very small interaction with Flashlights. Not something like lightburn on Wraith, this was too much. But something else. E.g. I think it was totally fine to lightburn a Nurse or prevent her from Blinking, but a weaker Killer like Wraith should not be impacted by Flashlights this hard.
So instead of removing interactions with Flashlights from every Killer (except for Nemesis), they should have added small interactions with every Killer which can make Flashlights useful against them, but dont impact them as much as lightburn did on Wraith.
Would give Flashlights some love as well, they are way too weak anyway and it would encourage some Survivors to bring Flashlights instead of Medkits or Toolboxes.

I like your idea about the interaction with other killers. Imagine blinding Huntress when she's charging her hatchet and she can't control its accuracy. Would it be risky. Probably yes, but it would be kinda cool if you can read Huntress. Or shining Trapper's trap makes its aura visible for 5-10 seconds so teammates know where not to step, something like that.

I don't think weaker killers such as Wraith should be burnable. That doesn't feel fair. I'd be all for allowing Nurse and (somehow) Blight to have their abilities taken away with a flashlight though.

On an open map like farm, 2 survs with flashlights can literally protect their territory and deny you entry as wraith if you try to approach their side of the map, aggressively chasing you down with flashlights, and protecting their friends doing gens. There is literally no counterplay to being burned there, as there are no walls around. It just felt like a big "screw you" to a killer that was already bad because of old CoH. He did NOT deserve lightburn.
Nurse and artist on the other hand...

Wraith Lightburn was far too punishing.
Also, the whole point was to separate counterplay from items and this is why Hag traps have a basekit counter now. If any killer is too strong without a Lightburn mechanic or similar, they should be balanced around not having it.

nah, it's right! either you can do something with FL with every killer or not at all... it's just unfair, but I understand what you mean, I find it boring too, wow I can blind killers on pallets (Nurse, Blight, Spirit are the exception) No more real interactions, but if you did something like that for every killer, then everyone would walk around with a FL, that's not the point, so I hope there's something else, like for keys that are absolutely useless
For example, it would be nice if the Yellow FL adds the Killer 20sec blindness status effect, the Green FL the killer are double as long blind, Purple FL makes ehmm I don't know, maybe the killer falls dead immediately, ohh that was it not meant that way UwU, then you could also add an Iri FL with another ability etc, i would also be up for small interactions with the killer ability because it was fun to play against it and react to it as well but that takes many time for it and we know bhvr are not the fastest devs (meaning minimum years for that)

Bro if you see 3 to 4 flash lights 9/10 times it's gonna be an easy match. They usually never do gens always lurk behind you, so all you have to do is fake the pick up and get a free hit, fake it again another free hit. Pickup facing walls, look up, moonwalk, etc flashy are easy to deal with when your not in a daze. Those games usually snowball really quick as altruism is a surv worst enemy more times than not with flash lights and the nerf to healing.

Just a method for the group role to cancel killer powers and assert "dominance" over the individual role in this asymmetrical game.

There's a few killer powers that don't work while blinded. Myers and Ghostface can't stalk while blinded.
There's hardly a need to bring back hard flashlight counters such as destroying traps or stunning the killer when you can just make it a base thing where a killer can't use their power while blinded. I know this is "less fun", but it's certainly more fair as there's far more interaction around blinding the killer.

As a killer main, the last fun match i had was vs a group of bullies. They came with sabo and flashlight and other stuff and it was fun chasing them down, trick them, fight vs them, at least was different from the same, old match you are having those days
Sadly, match you could say are ""FUN" are one out of five, the other match are just plain stright boring

I used to just lobby dodge as wraith or hag if i saw too many flashlights. It wasn't a good fit for the game so it was good change for them to remove it.

It doesn't really matter how hard or easy a killer is, Wraith is on the lower end of killers and having a big weakness to flashlights and flashbangs in the game wasn't really fair. Even without it he's not suddenly an amazing killer.

I don’t get the whole “Wraiths not a good killer” thing anymore. I think he’s for sure above average and with the new heal speeds, hit and run is super effective with him. He’s a menace in solo q lobbies.
Pair him with sloppy, nurses and almost any of his add ons (they’re pretty much all good) and it’s gg to 90% of lobbies unless you commit to a survivor for too long.
Lightburn was a good interaction imo and was easily counterable when playing as wraith (flash bangs withstanded but are we really complaining about an off meta perk that counters a single killer? Plague counters every healing build but no one complains about that because perks and killers are supposed to counter each other).

Same with nurse's junk, but I absolutely agree that flashbangs were waaay too strong against wraith, it was pretty stupid

I partially agree. Lightburn for Nurse was a very rare occurrence and hard to pull of, so that should've stayed. Wraith and Hag being effected by flashlights was kinda unfair though.

I think it's fine they removed it for Wraith. He already struggles quite a bit and doesn't really need another artificial weakness.
For the other killers though, I don't understand why they'd remove that. It was valid counterplay against killers that typically lack a lot of it in chase.
