Dbd is acting very laggy even when I have good ping
Not sure why, but lately dbd has been very laggy/buggy and I have no idea why. I’m my games, I’m usually moving at a normal pace but then my character starts slowing down and basically starts walking for no reason. It’s mostly on killer, but I’ve had games where this happened on survivor as well. Does anyone know a reason for this? (I’m on console btw)

i have no idea man, recently they put out some useless update and it caused my ping to go from 95 to 150 and when i emailed them about this they did nothing useful for me or helped me in anyway good.

Ive been having connection and rubberbanding issues despite having really good internet, for every other game, I have no issues, but with DBD I only have this issue.
Im guessing they maybe messed up the netcode over the past few updates but I really dont know.

Yeah, after the last update, I’ve been having these problems, but tbh dbd’s “bug fixes” create more problems then they solve sooooo

Same issues here, usually have great ping but now it's pretty doo-doo.

I’ve also been having similar connection issues. Sometimes I would lag a little bit but for the most part not too bad. Then out of the blue recently I got kick out of a killer match while trying to break all pallets for a rift challenge for no reason. I lost all my challenge progress and ended up getting a penalty from something that out of my control. It was very annoying for sure. They really need to fix and address this soon.

yes i agree, this ping needs to be fixed im sick of it. Also they need to implement some sort of reconnect option because the game sucks balls and kicks you out of the match even when your internet is perfectly fine. Most of the times im on discord with friends and when i get kicked out of match i can still hear them which means its the games problem and not my internet. Giving players a penalty over their problem is bullshit in my opinion and the ping just sucks so bad they need to fix whatever they messed up in the code. And i contacted them telling them this and 5 different times too in the past 3 days ive been replying to the emails they send me replying to my issue that im addressing and they keep telling me to check my internet and giving stupid troubleshooting procedures for my internet when my internet isnt the problem and i told them that. The reply i got to this was another email telling me to check my internet, after that i said the same thing. They changed the person that was replying to me and this other donkey on their team told me the same exact ######### as if that fixed my issue.

Noticed this yesterday and today. Very fast and stable internet, but I get ping issues and rubberbanding now and then.
