Blight is Golden Boy
He is probably BHVR's fav killer. If he is not, i don't know what is the reason he is not getting any nerf.
+ 2nd best killer in game.
+ Very strong chase power.
+ Very strong map mobility.
+ His mains loves to abuse hug-tech (bug)
+ Broken level add-ons.
+ Whenever Nurse miss with her blinks, she gets punishment by it but Blight? No Sir! Thanks to 4.6 movement speed.
Now imagine this killer people. S-tier killer. Very busted with some add-ons but BHVR nerfed average killers like Slinger and Freddy before Blight. End of story.

Pretty sure after nurse addon pass, blight is next. And remember nurse had those add ons way longer than blight has

I did not complain about his base-kit. I agree with you. His add-ons needs to be looked.
But hug-tech needs to go aswell, it's a bug and abusing by people so much.

I think the hug-tech can stay, since it’s mainly used on terrible maps and bhvr cant fix the hug-tech without messing up most of the collision anyway

1st best killer in the game. Ever since Nurse’s big triple nerf, she’s no longer the #1 killer for 99.999% of the games.
Does everyone remember how much complaints Nurse used to get, and how very little complaints she gets now in comparison? That’s because many people really just don’t see her as super OP anymore.
Meanwhile, Blight has a much higher pick rate, and a better overall kill rate, and is much easier to start playing. And people are constantly complaining about how OP some of Blight’s addons are. Does everyone remember how many complaints Nurse used to get about her addons before all her good addons got nerfed into the ground? And now I haven’t seen any Nurse addon complaints in months?
At some point, people should admit that it doesn’t matter if a killer can teleport through walls, because there is a point where a killer can get so many nerfs that they aren’t #1 anymore.

Cannot fix the hug tech unless you fix the collision issues that hinder his performance. Messing with collision is tricky, and in the past has created more issues than solved. I don’t expect the hug tech to go anywhere.
Besides, it’s silly to think removing the hug tech is a nerf. I’ll just use bump logic and guarantee every single hit, rather than going for fun hits that are easily countered.
The hug tech is the easiest thing to counter in blight’s basekit.

If you have speed add-ons hug-tech is pretty busted.

It’s really not. It’s even less busted with speed because of how long it takes to setup. It’s only busted against the typical survivors who just sit there and WAIT as the blight sets up for a hug tech. Don’t be that survivor.

The problem is speed add-ons removes "Leave the loop" counterplay. He just hits you before you react and leave.

It doesn’t. If you go to a tile that you know can he hug teched, and the blight you are facing has already done it before, you should be expecting it. If they bump on the opposite side of the loop, then you know it’s coming.
Leaving the loop is not the only counter. Depending on your positioning on a tile, you can swing out wide as the blight crosses the short sides of loops during a hug tech (for example the pickup truck tiles, tailgate and hood sides) when they are about to swing. They will go right past you. I have met survivors who can consistently pull this off, and it forces me to stop hug teching because it simply does not work against them.

Because I have close to 2 thousand hours on Blight. I know the ins and outs of his power, and all of his counterplay.
There is a big difference between OP and strong. Blight as he is not OP. (Excluding alch ring)

People say Blight is super loved and everything, but it still took the developers a few years to just get his POV correct.
Remember when Blight was only 4 feet tall when you played as him?

imo blight is stronger than spirit, and both blight and spirit are stronger than nurse so hes actually THE strongest killer

Thats what bhvr should try to aim for when making a killer minus the broken addons. Wesker fits this ideology very well because he has a very strong base power with only like 1-2 addons that would be considered "very good" and actually threatening map pressure because if you just allow yourself to fully infect you're 8% slower and insta downable.

Even if it's still just a PTB, I don't know how I feel about other killer's addons (and Pyramid Head's basekit) getting changed but C33 and alchemist ring getting no changes.

- Average level players (most people)
- Low skill players (bottom 10%)
Basically, imagine the left side of this graph is the lower skill players, and the right side is the higher skill players. Where should the game be balanced around?
