whats your guys opinion on the PTB
im a poor console player so i cant try it out for myself but for what i have seen it seems to be really good the killer seems to be really liked especially the mori but the map may be a hit or miss for some people
also in the patch notes the changes to ghost face and pyramid head seem to be really good and excited to try it out so what do you guys think am i over hyped for this or what?

Basically, bored
Artistically / graphically the update looks absolutely awesome. Incredible job. But the gameplay of DBD has become so stale that I kinda expected more.
It's still the same game, even with a new killer. Everyone is super hyped by all the great stuff we've been shown in the trailers, but in practice I can than already tell that I won't see most of that in my games. What I'll see every game, is killers tunnel / camp 3-gens just as much as they do now when I play survivor - and when I play killer, survivors hide and genrush like good bots making sure to interact as little with me as possible.
SoloQ is still gonna be miserable so I'll have to play with friends, but none of my friends play anymore, so I likely will only play 2-3 games just to see the new killer and that's it. Assuming I even get matched against the new killer at all. Because in practice the game will more likely give me SM / Knight and I might leave without even noticing there was an update.

A shame that this game has been out so long that people have optimized the fun out of it

Some of Gabriel's perks are completely busted. Removing quick scope wasn't enough to nerf deathslinger out the game so now survivors can run 3% faster every time they're injured v a 110% killer.

The Killer has potential. If they adjust EMP's appropriately, I think he could basically be a more fun version of Hag.
The Pyramid Head changes are extremely unhealthy, I don't expect them to go through.
The Ghostface changes are good.
The other add-on changes are good, if a little underwhelming.

You really have to play with it to understand. 3% is not a lot but seeing as most people just go with what is on paper instead of trying it or seeing it themselves, it'll probably get nerfed to 2% if there is enough killer whining.

I'm disappointed in scavenger perk, been testing it out and you can only farm those skill checks AFTER you have depleted the current toolbox (atleast works with stake out) and you can only use it once the entire game, you do get yellow toolbox when going through opened chest but overall built to last is still way superior perk.
Troubleshooter seems such a niche perk, I don't find any value in it
"Made for this" is quite op against slow killers, mix it with resilience with off the record or iron will and your very powerful when injured. For an anti heal update we been getting, this will be a strong loadout (of course except for thanaphobia or Oni)
New killer seems very hard to master, out of 10 matches 9 escaped, very predictable if you see him putting those eye chemicals onto stuffs that you should move to different loop. Probably having less of those anti-eye boxes might help the killer more but as of right now its very easy to counter him. I don't find any robotic types of killers scary, scariest killer to face in my opinion is Dredge/Hag/Sadako or even Oni when in rage mode
I don't know much about killer perks but the kicking the gen and giving you speed buff seems the best one so far

The PTB is quite nice honestly. Haven't seen Ghostface or PH so I can't say but I assume PH can speed run tunneling now lol.
The killer is quite fun but a bit underwhelming to go against, although it probably has to do with the fact that people are still learning how to use it properly.
Also, Made for This is really not as good as everyone makes it out to be and I haven't seen anyone complain about it in the PTB. Scavenger is a bit of a problem (more exactly toolboxes are still a problem and scavenger is not helping at all).
The map is nice to look at but an absolute pain to navigate and play on. Like, worse than Garden of Joy and reworked Temple of Purgation bad.

It's good but the emp is op
For how easy they are to get how long your pods are down and it removes infection its the win item
