Prepare For A Week Of Pain...
Garden of Joy, RPD (both sides), and Decimated Borgo are having their map chances increased for a week. This is happening as apart of the Anniversary event (or things leading up to the Anniversary).
- As Survivor; expect a lot of camping and tunneling since Killers really hate these maps. Luckily, youll have a lot of pallets and chaining loops to work with (GoJ and DB) so it might not be super easy for the Killers to deal with. Expect a lot of Map Offerings, bring some yourself or use your surplus of Sacrificial Wards.
- As Killer; expect the most frustrating and annoying matches ever. Survivors will be able to easily chain loops together, Windows of Opportunity (if that is something you hate) will be used a decent bit more than before. Bring Map Offerings if you just want to avoid all of this.
- As for Colorblind People (such as myself); rip, best of luck being able to see anything.
This concludes the "week of pain" announcement.

Yeah these maps are gonnna be ruff for me cause I’m a Billy main. I knew my 200 azarovs keys were meant to be used sooner or later 😁

As another Billy main, it is def going to be rough, but my issues mostly deal with seeing scratchmarks on these maps, I wish we had better accessibility settings since it gets annoying having to constantly change my settings to be able to see.

I'm actually gonna take a break from the game or spam McMillan/azarov offerings this week.
Really not looking forward to it

Week of not playing DbD it is then

I didn't expect to be hoping to get RPD one day lol.
I didn't play much when GoJ came out and didn't play at all for Borgo. I absolutely hate GoJ bc there's too much clutter and I can barely see anything. As for Borgo I haven't played on it much but it feels similar in the "why is this random small object blocking my way for no reason" department.
I always die very quickly on these two maps bc I run into things that don't look like they have collision or that I just didn't see, so ig I'll just be the weak link this week.

Take the week as a good thing, since you are playing survivor equip windows of opportunitty and look up tutorials on how to run GoJ main building, you will find yourself enjoying invincibility for some matches.

I think you mean, "take a break for a week" which sounds nice. It's good to take a break.
3 -
A good time to go outside and touch some grass. Or in my case, study calculus until my eyes bleed.
5 -
Looking forward to it, been having more fun on the newer maps than any of the older maps in recent times.

Wow, 3 of us billy mains in a single thread. Someone needs to document this since it's a historical moment that won't be believed otherwise lol. But yeah, thank god for map offerings (never thought I'd be saying that unironically).

i don't feel as bad for missing out on the exp event anymore, thanks bhvr!

Honestly, I like RPD and kind of like GOJ, although Borgo is boring to play in my opinion.
Said that, you just need to use map offerings for this week if you find them annoying. Unless you are new to the game you should have hundreds of map offerings by now.

It's quite strange how they decide not to kill switch all those broken maps, they shouldn't have made those maps at all tbh.

It's not that bad. I hardly saw last week's boosted.

I’ll see how it goes but if I’m getting these maps frequently I’m just going to take a week off. What a terrible idea by the devs to promote these maps.

Study crew. Although in my case it's IT project management.

Great idea. I will have my "Blame the devs" response copied and ready to fire.

People are spamming map offerings in my matches, and that says a lot.

I got Borgo once yesterday but otherwise didn't have any of the others, and haven't had any of them today. And that's without map offerings.

I've played some 30 games in one session and only saw GoJ twice and RPD once. These maps don't seem all that boosted.
