The Singularity Is Not What I Expected.
I didn’t think the new chapter would also kind of be a disappointment. While playing as the Singularity , I feel even more like a M1 killer. I mean his teleportation is okay but I thought that if you use your gun on a survivor you would be able to teleport or get that built in spirit fury. I mean I now realize that it does take a bit of skill to master him which is fine. But I just thought he would a little bit more easier to play at least from what I seen. I mean will admit I may of overestimated the mechanics with him.
I also feel that the emps are way too easy to use. He has way too many counter plays. I feel like you don’t have much map pressure or any control from him. Overall he’s not strong or good in my opinion.

Yea I feel the same way...I saw a lot of PTB plays and I was like oh yea he seems easy and fun to use....turns out its quite boring. The EMP's make it so you dont have any power during setup and chases unless you catch them by suprise which is hard to do since cover and range play in factor.

That was our... Global problem with Hux in the PTB... The EMP system is WAAAAYY To strong... And if you add that if you take all the other killer with some power interaction (the box with pinhead, deactivate the trap from the trapper, freddy and the nightmare, etc...) you have always some "price", like the time to deactivate it, oblivious, the killer see you or can TP at you, etc etc...
With the EMP, nothing, you can hold it like a lolipop and use it whenever you want, if you add that the printer make a new one when you take it there... Litterally, your power is nullified ...

Yeah I agree he seem so much better on the PTB. But yeah the EMPs definitely need to be nerf more cause yeah they definitely destroyed him.

I totally understand cause yeah he is definitely frustrating to play. I will also agree that his setup is very time consuming and that he does need more buffs for sure.

The killer even with his power just feels... Lackluster. The bonus of faster vaulting and breaking speeds doesn't feel good enough with how much counterplay the killer has.
Survivors can still easily just run from pallet to pallet and or loop you safely without pre-dropping pallets, so you have no real anti-loop or catch-up potential until basically half the map's pallets are gone.

Agreed, they really need to tone down the Emps and also buff him more.

Agreed, he definitely needs more work for sure.

Thanks to his teleport I've murdered two people trying to open exit gates. So far I'm having fun.

The "sadest" part, is... If you play him aggressively... So using is pod in chase and not like some "traps" in all the map, you can become oppressive... But in the other hand...

emp nerfs are welcome but i really hoped they would make them they couldn't be used while running; at full speed at least.

You are playing hin for at max 4 hours and 12 minutes right now. Obviously you will not be that good at this point. Give it more time.
Personally, I think it was obvious that it is a more demanding Killer when looking at PTB-gameplay.

Yeah that could be that and I may need more practice with him which is fine. I just was expecting more which I should of known at this point lol.

The main thing is the emp.
I feel like they just disable the pods for just way to long I would rather have it so that it destroys the pods instead since you don't need to wait ten years for it to just be disabled again I've both played and faced him. When I faced him I found that if you simply just get an emp you can disable the pod repair some of the gen it's at and just simply go over and get another repeating over and over again. Playing as him is just extremely annoying since his power can be disabled way to easily and for a long duration. I'm not saying he's a terrible killer but his power just seems a bit weak. Look at skull merchant her power sucks sure but there still is some pressure on the survivors and it does require survivors to take risk in disabling her drones even then she can recall them with no problem. Singularity you have to hit the pods with another one to get it back or simple wait a long time for it to disappear. I know you can't fire the pods at survivors since it would be overpowered but still his power just seems a little weak.

Yeah, I mean, currently it is impossible to see how good or bad the Killer is. This will take a few days so that the Killer players have learned how to use the new Killer and the Survivors have learned how to play against them.
I did not play him either (I played like 2 games on the PTB against actual humans (Bots was a bit funny...), waiting times far too long), so I expect a few trainwrecks with 1-3 Hooks or something like that.

Even with the tweaks since the PTB, the EMPs just neuter his power so much. He's basically just an m1 killer.

Literally. Like their solution to the power of the EMP was to make it so you can't see the boxes when you already have one and make it slightly longer to get? Big deal you can't hold 2 and you can speed it up a ton just by standing at a box. The issue still stands, they wasted time on changes that fix nothing. "Oh but there's also less boxes!" Ok, so what? You can still get them just as frequently which was a big part of the issue.
How about looking into how quickly you can use an EMP. Maybe also look into the fact that you can grab something that should take 90 seconds to create in just over 20 just by clicking a button.

I, too, am not having a good experience with this killer. I've been just going for his adept so far so maybe if I had perks of my choosing involved it wouldn't feel so bad. But yeah so far, ability is just constantly neutered.
