Singularity is seriously un-fun.

In my experience, this killer is not fun.

Feel like 99% of the game I have no power as it's constantly getting emp'd.

EMP's are far too strong and unless you get a seriously strong early game, you're going to have a really bad time.

my first game when playing singularity, I had to infect the survivor 5 times in a row to use the overclock ability during the chase. The teammates kept cleansing the infection on the survivors that I was chasing. The Emp mechanic really discourages killer to spread infections and enforces killer to tunnel infection on 1 survivor. that is my day 1 first impressions of playing this killer.

Of course, they always play it to safe with killers. They're horrified of making a killer to OP in the eyes of cry baby survivors.

It feels very feast or famine. If you don't have EMP as Survivor you can go down nearly instantly, so that makes everyone want to grab an EMP which then provides the opposite problem. I don't know how to adjust this fairly. I think Biopods are better used to snipe people on gens for infection, rather than adjacent. Survivors are far less likely to EMP a distant biopod, which can get a lot of free infections or waste a lot of their time. I did like the idea (I think attributed to Scott Jund) of boxes only 75%ing by default, so you can't drive by and use them on CD. Maybe an alternative to this is the printer doesn't auto-print while the EMP from that box is held. That way you can manually still create them, but doesn't run the issue of a pseudo 9 EMPs available. If someone manually 0-100'd the box, then I think you got enough slowdown from it to not be a problem.
